This was a commission, for which I had physical descriptions provided by the commissioner, as I have not read the novel. It was drawn a little after the book came out, so I had little to no online clue (e.g.: detailed asoiaf wiki articles) about how anyone looked like, specially not to the detail of their eye colour, other than what I got in the commission request If I had no info at all, I went with whatever I felt looks good. So it wasn't intentional.
Still, I know you probably don't look at your old pictures' comments sections, but I'd like you to know that this picture did go a fair way in how I characterize these well... characters!
I really had little to go on, all I had were ASOIAF wiki articles with just sort of hints at the time, and some help from the lovely commissioner, who had read the book and had some extra info, or his own ideas on what the characters look like.
I'm glad, you like the way it turned out
Well, you're probably one of my favorite artists. Though that could be bias due to how much I like the stuff I've commissioned.
And on that note, whenever you're available again I have some cash set aside to get some new pics. Fire and Blood came out and it's got me wanting more stuff.
On the side of the greens, Prince Aemond should have a scar be missing his right eye do to a childhood fight with Lucerys (he but a Saphire in the empty eye socket)
Great job though, I really like your style
Just pointed it out cuse out of your beautifull work it is a major point of the plot.
