Tbh saying I'm part of the games industry makes it sound way more important than it actually is when it's just me noodling around in Game Maker most of the time
No matter the noodling, it still makes you one of us. The great thing about the indie games industry is that your games are just as valid as those made with a team of people and a massive budget. It's an art, and art is subjective, so...
... Better you enjoy making one Game Maker game with love, than someone who hates what they do and makes ten, right?
