My deviantART Story...

 Once upon a time... 

When I first heard about deviantART I was in High School, I was introduced to it by a classmate by the name of OfSilence. I think still remember the old versions of deviantART when everything was simple, but I didn't sign up then.  Over the years I did have other usernames/accounts where I unfortunately had forgotten about and never went back to though I remember one or two that I had; I was just an art admirer back then... I don't think I had a creative bone in my body other than I was roleplaying quite a lot.

Then in September 2006 I had finally thought about creating an account and viola Endorell-Taelos was made, one account that would stick with me forever! I was still pretty much an art admirer and appreciator but my creativity was slowly emerging and I was beginning to write more and more. My first large project that I wanted to share online was a Charmed fan-fiction and a sort of original short story with an embarrassingly under developed RP turned novel character by the name of Luciana whose name back then was Antonia and even before then Ellya, though those stories still remain unfinished. 

    

Not long after I had joined deviantART I became immersed within the community and dived head-first into the chat room network, more specifically DAUnderworld.  deviantART and that chatroom became my home on the internet. Even though I quite shy and unable to communicate well I was able to form a few friendships in alisette and a few others in DAU and another chatroom I went to PotterShare.

For the first few years everything was a love of all things ANIME! But when I discovered the wonderful world of photo-manipulation and many talented artists in that medium such as EmberRoseArt and AlexandraVBach I really wanted to try doing the same and expand my creativity. I always wanted to grow more as an artist so I asked around and looked around to see what I can find and EmberRoseArt I remember suggested that I use The Gimp and look up some tutorials and I did just that.  Everything was just basic, learning how to cut out models and stick them on a premade background (admittedly I still do this but I think I am so much better at what I do) and make everything blend well together.  I love to create photomanips and ever since the very first and embarrassing one I believe I've learned to do so much more and it can only get better from now on.

        

On the side from being a hobbyist photomanipulation artist and an author with a big dream to write and someday publish my fantasy novels under the name of Chronicles of Loreithia, I was involved with all things deviantART community, I was a part of groups (and even before then clubs, which were actually user accounts. It was somewhat of a horrible process to upload an artist’s artwork and do communications on a community scale. Thank goodness for the Groups platform!) I even created and founded my own groups one of my major successes was a literature group called Mythologue which I had founded alongside my dearest alisette it went strong for quite a few years before finally having a closure. Aside from being in the community, groups and chatrooms I had a major passion for featuring artworks of artists I admire and so many more that I had thought deserved a feature, even created a special account for it by the name of LoveRandomDeviants alongside Krissi001 which utilized the Random Deviant feature. 

By April 2011 I had formed a great many wonderful friendships within the community and still deeply immersed in deviantART, I had truly become addicted! There was pretty much nothing I wouldn't do to help out my fellow community members and friends, I loved to do anything to help.  April 2011 was a huge month for me, it was when I was recognised for my community efforts and became a Senior Member and I also met who would become my almost-soul-mate, best friend and collaborator Mirz123 (mirz333). We didn't know it all back then but our friendship grew and grew and now we have a whole alternate universe together formed from our respective fictional worlds Relativity and Loreithia alongside our soon-to-be trilogy When Worlds Collide, it would turn out that my second Daily Deviation would be from that series Chapter One in fact.

After gathering up my courage and wits for quite a few months and a final push from my dears Romaji and jvsef I submitted an application to come a Community Volunteer, I've always wanted to be one! But wasn't sure how I would go about doing so.  But surely enough after some time waiting somewhat anxiously on November 29, 2012 I had been given the opportunity to become A CV for Chats and Forums by the wonderful moonbeam13, heck, I was here every single day, surely I could help out right in there right? Unfortunately though this was in a period where I didn't have much access to the internet so a huge chunk of my term was taken out and I wasn't feeling too good in that particular position, I had always thought I would probably make a better CV in a gallery such as literature or photomanipulation since I have a passion for art and literature even though I am not very good at it myself.  Sadly in April 2013 I choose to hang up my hat, which I still somewhat regret for not continuing and making my full years term the best it could have been but I think it was for the best.  Even though I choose to hang up my CV hat so short into my term, I must admit I did have a rather rewarding and learning experience whilst I was there. 

Through all the years I have been a member of deviantART I am proud that I could make an impact on the community and have so many lasting friendships that I have made here, I would really love to mention everyone who has become a place in my heart but seriously that list would be so very long and I would fear that I would accidentally leave someone out.  So forgive me!

Trapping the sadness that clouds her mind
The trust she had is no more
She longs for what did go before
Frozen tears shatter on dreary floors.
Memories into a million pieces.
They melt and are no more,
leaves a stain, a mark of pain 
and still the frozen tears fall.  Beautiful RuinAs I live and breath your darkness,
I am haunted by your dark desires,
Blinded by your detestation,
I am your most beautiful ruin. 
In this beautiful ruin,
I will continue to exist,
Forever lamenting the loss 
of my sweet innocence.
And in the sorrow that I miss,
I will not rest in this fading light,
Finding the strength to save me,
I will never rest until I set it right.
The chains that haunt me forever binding,
So fragile in the ruins of a haunted passing,
All alone in the dark with no one to guide me,
Wishing to turn back the pages of this haunting tale.
Yet against all odds,
I will turn this into a fairy tale ending. 

However I would love to mention with everything else being on deviantART and the community has helped me grow as an artist, author and community member.  In the last few years I have come very far both in my writing and my artworks!  This year has really been huge!  Even though it is small I made my first publication in DorianHarper's non-profit literature anthology Cat Tails, which made me officially a published author and just this month my Birthday month of all months! I received the Deviousness Award!  I am truly honoured to be amongst an amazing community and friends.
