: I drew Ichigo Momomiya as Mew Ichigo from the anime and manga series, Tokyo Mew Mew (or Mew Mew Power if you remember the weird 4Kids Dub). I drew her in my sketchbook and used a combination of colored pencils and markers to color her in..The lineart probably took a few hours to do as well as the coloring.

: THE REASON I made this drawing was for a magical girl fanart contest. I decided to draw Mew Ichigo because Tokyo Mew Mew was one of my favorite manga series growing up.

: I was in Middle School when I first discovered this series...and I remember borrowing all the manga books from a friend and reading them all. It was one of my first mangas I ever read. Also I love Mew Ichigo and all the mew mews.

In conclusion, I drew Mew Ichigo because she is iconic and I love Tokyo Mew Mew. I recently watched the anime for the first time last year. I still need to watch the reboot one. However, this series is near and dear to me like Sailor Moon and Yu-Gi-Oh.
