The Elemental Guardian (Chapter 5)
Coe chuckled, watching Pak struggle to take twigs out of his hair. The poor man while on the way fell into a bush, and for the past twenty minutes has been finding all sorts of things within his black locks.
"Are you having fun yet Pak?" Coe asked, laughing as Pak gave him a glare.
"A blast." Coe could tell he was being sarcastic, which is why he started giggling.
"Nature is great. The scenery, the smell, it's overall a new adventure." Coe said.
"To bad it's not his cup of tea." Nebris commented from further ahead. The scene changed, and soon they were in a wide open area. A circle like formation of plains riddled with flowers gleemed from the sunlight peeking through the trees. Around were walls of oak and birch trees, making going forwards difficult.
"We can rest here and figure out an attack plan." Coe said. Pak groaned as he flipped the bag that was once on his back onto the ground.
"Finally! I don't think I want to deal with that forest any longer." Pak groaned, moving his hair ou

The Elemental Guardian's (Chapter 2)
Three men stood by the front gates impatiently. The first was leaning nonchalant like against the post, his arms crossed and his head down. He had spikey brown hair, 3-D glasses that covered his brown eyes, a brown trenchcoat, white shirt, blue jeans, red and white tennis shoes, and a diamond sword holstered at his waist.
The second paced back and forth, his hands behind his back and his head hung low. He had short, dark brown hair, blue eyes, black shaved beard, purple tee-shirt, blue roughed up jeans, blue and black shoes, and a belt that had the flag of the Swedish country.
The third was different than the others. He stood idly by and watched Anders pace. Half of him was a green, cactus green, and lime green colored creeper, and the other half was robotic. The robotic side had a red glowing eye, mechanical arm with a battery level on the side, and the creeper side had a black eye with complete shaggy brown hair covering his head. He had a white dotors coat on.
Anders came to a stop,

As the storm passed, he got agitated. Guude hadn't returned yet, and he's been out for almost twelve hours. He wss impatiently pacing back and forth in front of the gate, two more friends of his standing by and watching unamused.
The man had a natives feather hat, a blue, red, and white beaded smock covering his chest, leather pants with the same colored designs on the smock on his knees, and his face painted red and white. The man had brown eyes and black braided hair, two small ones on the front and one long one on the back.
The man to his far right, who looked ready to punch the first man across the face, had brown hair, a bushy brown beard, blue eyes, a black tee-shirt with a bloody apron on the front, blue roughed up jeans, blue and black sneekers, and scars going all the way down the sides of his arms.
The second man, Beef he goes by, grunted, forcefully stopping the first man, Pause's, pacing with a strong grab. Pause glared him down.

[Better Than Reality] Chapter Six ~ Friend Zone
"You should not be attracted to that male."
Thomas grit his teeth at the voice in his head as he watched his co worker, James, enter the room. His B.EA.P. knew of his crush on James and disapproved on any relationship between the two that exceeded being friends. Thomas, on the other hand, wanted to get out of the friend zone as quickly as possible. He just needed to gather the courage.
"Good afternoon, Jefferson," James greeted as he closed the door behind him.
Ugh. Jefferson. Thomas hated when he called him that.
"I've told you countless times that you can call me Thomas," he said, chuckling softly.
"It feels..unprofessional."
Thomas bit his lip. He had a feeling he was going to stay in the friend zone for a while. If even that. He didn't know if James considered him a friend or an acquaintance.
"Oh," he said simply after a while. James didn't respond, and the room fell into an uncomfortable silence with the occasional sound of papers brushing against ea

Hey guys, Blazzium here... Uh... About Elemental Guardians. I am sorry about the hiatus but I have been really busy. I just bowled in two tournaments this weekend alone and placed first in both. I am moving on to a Provincials in a month and things are hell on earth right now. I have one more tournament next weekend and then don't have one until January. I will update when all the tournaments seize for a bit. Thanks for understanding.

"Finally! I don't think I want to deal with that forest any longer." Pak groaned, moving his hair out of his face as he took out a hair tie. As he tied it back, Nebris chuckled.

"You might have to. I don't see any clear paths yet to the kingdom, which means that we might have to cut through the forest again." Nebris informed. Pak grumbled.

"Whatever... Let's make this quick." The man in black said, walking over to his other friends.

"Alright, the main castle walls are about twelve meters high, and stretches about two miles around. The second walls are seven meters high, and stretches just short of a mile." Coe informed.

"If we can find a way through that without allarming any of the guards, it would be a clear sailing from there." Pak said, making Nebris nod. Suddenly, a bush was heard rustling from beside them, causing an instant panic. The three men glanced at each other, looking at the bush and waiting for something to happen.

"Do you think it's hostile?" Nebris asked. Suddenly, a squadron of guards emerged from the forest around them. As the group of three went back to back, the guards surrounded them, pointing swords their way. Pak growled.

"Does that answer your question?" The man in black asked, clearly annoyed. Someone emerged from through the guards, their arms behind their back and their orange tinted goggles on their head.

<:Jim Senteas is King Dinnerbone's second in command and was once friends with Jason Bolderfist. He is calm and layed back, and has not commited any federal crimes. But there is a reason why he is serving King Dinnerbone. Magic = Cross Dimensional Travel, Codename = TheJims:>

Coe growled.

"Jims. You still working for Dinnerbone like the dog you are?" Coe asked.

"Have respect when you speak of King Dinnerbone's name peasant. I am still his loyal servant, and his second in command." Jims revealed. Nebris shook his head.

"A man who slaughters the innocent doesn't deserve respect." Nebris said, spitting at the second in command's feet. Jims chuckled.

"Still as clueless as ever. This is for the best. This world needs a strong leader, and King Dinnerbone is the leader we need." Jims argued. Pak shook his head.

"I can't believe you'd stick up for this madman." Pak said.

"I wish I had a choice at the matter Pak, but I don't. However, his majesty the king requires me to retrieve you. Come quietly and we wil spare you the pain." Jims offered, but Coe shook his head.

"Sorry Jims, but we're not going down without a fight." Coe admitted. The calm man sighed, turning away from them while giggling.

"Very well... Take care of them." Jims ordered, stepping back to watch the show. The guards stepped closer as the group of three scrunched closer together.

"Can you see anyway out except for fighting?" Pak asked, and Nebris shook his head.

"Sadly, no. We'll have to barge through them." Nebris informed. Coe smiled.

"Good." Suddenly raising his hand, a yellow glow surrounded it, shimmering stars appearing from the sky as they traveled down towards them. As Coe put his arm out towards the guards, the stars shot out, hitting three and just missing one, knocking them off their feet. Jims rose an eyebrow as they started to battle.

Pak levatated a nearby boulder, throwing it to a group of guards as they scattered. Nebris's hands erputed in purple, firing balls of flames within the center of five guards. The fight stretched on, and Jims watched unamused. Suddenly, King Dinnerbone appeared beside his second in command without his knowledge.

At the sudden grunt of displeasure, Jims jumped, finally noticong his master beside him. Jims bowed.

"King Dinnerbone! I did not expect you to join me out here." Jims admitted. Dinnerbone let out a snarl, glaring at his second in command with anger.

"That's because you didn't expect you to do such a poor job." Dinnerbone glanced back at the battle, noticing his guards being destroyed by the three Mindcrackers.

"I shall deal with them." Dinnerbone growled, slowly walking away from Jims as the goggles wearing man's body relaxed. Pak kicked a guard down, regrouping with Nebris and Coe as the two finished with what they were doing.

"I have to give it to Jason, I did not expect him to train you this well." Dinnerbone's voice chuckled, making the three men glance at the king. Pak crossed his arm, placing all weight on his left side as he grunted.

"King Dinnerbone, out of his dark dungeon and coming to greet us. What an absaloute honor!" Coe said, his voice riddled with sarcasm. Dinnerbone chuckled.

"An honor it is, and an honor it will be. Guude must have sent you to discover the distruction that their attack left us in. Hmm?" Dinnerbone asked, which made Pak's body tense.

"How do you know that?" The man in black asked, but the mad king just laughed.

"It doesn't matter how. All that matters now is that you surrender." Dinnerbone ordered. Pak giggled.

"Like we'd surrender to a jerk like you!" Pak shouted. The mad king sighed, shaking his head in disappointment as the others got into a fighting stance.

"Very well, have it your way." Dinnerbone lifted his hands, black tenticles appearing from the ground and oozing to the floor below. They slithered around the men, causing Coe to go into panic mode. He tried to disburse the tenticles with his stars, but the holes in the tenticles just reformed itself. The tenticles wrapped around Nebris's leg, lifting him off the ground and smashing him into a nearby tree.

The mysterious man cried out, going limp swiftly after. The others were too busy to help Nebris, for their safety was also at risk. Coe was grabbed, slithering around his mouth and nose as he slowly started suffocating. Pak gasped.

"Coe! Let my friends go you monster!" Pak ordered, watching in disgust as Coe stopped moving. Dinnerbone giggled.

"Pakratt. If I let your friends go, it'll make my leadership look weak. You three need to pay for all your crimes. If you surrender, I will make your punishment less painful than your friend's." Dinnerbone offered, a sly gin on his face as Coe and Nebris hung beside him. Pak looked to his unconscience friends, pondering before sighing.

The man in all black fell to his knees, placing both hands over his head as he looked down sadly. The mad king laughed, looking to Jims as he slowly started to walk away.

"Arrest him amd throw him in the dungeons. Make sure our friends at Magika knows of this outstanding accomplishment." Dinnerbone ordered ad he disappeared with Pak's friends. Pak felt himself being forcefully lifted off the ground, all hope being lost as he was taken away. If he was going to die, it wouldn't be by Dinnerbone's hands.

Coe groaned as the first one cracked a smile.

"He's got you there." The unknown man said. He had short dark brown hair, a brown chin beard, purple eyes, a black shirt with a grey vest over top, black pants, and black dress shoes.

Coe shoved Nebris playfully.

"Whatever man. All I know is that I atleast came close. Unlike some others I know." Coe said with a smile, motioning towards Pak. The black dressed man crossed his arms.

"I never said I was the greatest in the world Coe." Pak pouted, making the other two men laugh.

"I have to admit, no one was as bad as Z, man. He didn't even come close to the target." Nebris said, moving to the other side of the two men as he rested his weight upon a nearby refilling station. Coe covered his mouth to prevent from laughing.

"Good lord..." Pak said, shaking his head.

"I hope we're not interrupting anything." Guude's voice rang as the leader and his three allies came into view. Pak's smile dimmed slightly.

"Not at all, Guude. What do you need?" Pak asked.

"Ya'll have heard about Kurt, right?" Beef asked, and Coe sighed, the smile upon his face disappearing as his head slightly bowed.

"Yeah." Coe answered simply.

"Is he really gonna be blind for the rest of his life Guude?" Pak asked.

"Yeah, sadly. But, he could possibly learn to cope with it." Pause said. Nebris pushed himself off of the refil station and walked towards Guude.

"What do you need?" Nebris asked.

"We were coming to ask a favor. Can u handle it?" Guude asked back.

"Depends on the favor." Coe answered smugishly.

"We need you three to go back to Mojang to see what has happened since the demolition job we did a couple of days ago." Guude said. Nebris chuckled.

"It's probably going to be nothing less than normal." Nebris said.

"Yeah, but what's normal to them?" Baj joked lightly.

"That's what I'm sending you there to find out." Guude smiled. Pause shook Coe's hand.

"Good luck you three." He said. Coe nodded, and the three men watched the leader and his friends walk away.

"Y'know, I can never understand that man for one reason." Coe said. Pak looked at him confused.

"What one reason would that be?" Pak asked.

"The man never wears shoes, how does his feet not hurt?" Coe asked with a smile. Pak stifled a laugh as Nebris shoved him forwards.

"Move, or you wont have any shoes either when I'm done with you!" Nebris joked, and the three men walked away.
==================================

The room was dark, and his face was grim. He hated how they were always there to intervine, but it didn't matter soon anyways. All he needed was to find a big enough place to hold it, and everything would be alright. His blood red eyes looked around the pitch black room, darting to the left of him when he heard a massive door opening.

"Sir-" a guard in silver iron knights armor walked and knelt in front of him. The guard looked up.

"We have news from our insider." The guard said.

"What news did he have?" The man upon the throne asked in a dark growl. The guard smiled.

"They're sending three more men our way." The knight answered.

"Which ones?" The man asked once more.

"Nebris Sirben, Pak Ratt, and Justin Star." The knight answered again. The man upon the throne smiled.

"Good... We shall pay them a most humble welcome. Station guards within the bush to ambush them. Do not keep them conscience long, or they will be like what happened with Guude and his bunch of misfits." The lord ordered. The Knight nodded, standing up and starting to waln back towards the door.

"One more thing, knight Jims." The knight stopped, turning back to his master with caution.

"Yes sir?" He asked.

"Will this mission effect your old bond with Commander Guude?" The lord growled. Jims felt his throat tighten as his palms became sweaty.

"No sir. We were friends, but that was years ago." Jims said.

"AND, before he betrayed this kingdom. Correct?" The lord asked again. Jims nodded.

"Yes, of course. That always comes first." Jims said nervously. The man upon the throne glared him down for a moment before nodding.

"Excellent. See to this at once." The lord ordered. Jims bowed.

"Yes sir." The lord waved the man away as Jims walked out. The man upon the throne grinned as one thought came to mind.

Panic sprawled across Magika when word spread that Kurt had been slashed by a clawer. Many who had heard from the commander passed it on to those who hadn't, and the rumors started growing like a tumor. It wasn't until Guude confirmed their suspicions that those rumors turned into cold, hard facts.

Guude stood by the infirmary, along with the ones who had gone with him to Mojang. Guude had paced, back and forth for those hours, until the door to the infirmary opened. All eyes were then glued upon Jsano, who then softly shut the door behind him as he walked out. The doctor cleared his throat.

"The clawer tore away most of the flesh around Kurt's eyes and nose, but the eyes are intact. However... The retina's inside of Kurt eyes have been severely damaged, way beyond my magical repair... I am afraid the most I can do is ease the pain for him." Jsano bowed his head. Guude felt his heart sink in his chest, as Beef walked a couple of feet closer to the doctor.

"So, is he going to be okay?" Beef asked nervously. Guude could tell that his third in command was upset, and he has every right to. Before joining Magika, Beef and Kurt were close friends before Kurt ventured out. The two would race eachother every day, and thanks to Kurt's teleporting, he normally always won. Jsano sighed, connecting his hands behind his back as he slowly walked forwards.

"The clawer didn't hit anything else besides his retina's... but the slash has made Kurt perminately blind." The doctor answered. Pause felt his heart skip atleast four beats, the controllable sadness being returned by an angered sensation. He turned to Anders and Doc, who were standing slightly behind Beef and to the left. The native stormed towards the two, getting right in their faces.

"If you two weren't fucking around on the upper walls, none of this would have happened!" Pause shouted, pointing his finger right in the middle of Anders's chest before shoving him. Anders growled.

"Hey, back off Pause! None of us were responsible for this except Kurt! He wasn't watching behind him." Anders said. That only made Pause angrier.

"How can you blame him for this! He's lying on a hospital bed, out cold, and without vision for the rest of his life! There is NO way you can put that on him!" Pause said. Doc bowed his head.

"This was our fault, Anders..." Doc whispered. Anders turned to his best friend, his once clenched teeth releasing to become agap and sad. The Swede looked down also before looking back at Pause and sighing.

"Y-You're right. I... I'm sorry. We were just so... Caught in the moment, we didn't see the clawer slip by us." Anders said. Pause chuckled.

"No need apologizing to me, Anders. Apologise to Kurt when he wakes up and finds out he can't see because of you two." The native growled, walking away and leaving the German and the Swede in silence. Doc's servos suddenly tensed as he felt himself start to over ventilate. The android creeper sunk to his knees, bowing his head as he felt tears start to build.

Anders watched his friend break down, and it hurt him. Doc didn't cry much, so he could tell that Kurt getting hurt being his fault greatly affected the emotional hybrid. Anders sat down beside him, putting his one arm over his buddy's shoulder as Doc leaned in closer. Atleast they had each other to comfort.
==================================

Kurt felt himself slowly start to wake up. The Farlander groaned softly, feeling around him as he sat himself up. Kurt opened his eyes, but sort of freaked out when he still saw darkness. Kurt blinked a couple of times, making sure that this wasn't a hallicination before he panicked. Kurt's breathing then became shakey, trying to look around wherever he was but just seeing black.

His heart started to pound from within his chest, and his knees and arms became wobbly. He suddenly heard the sound of a door opening, and distant voices possibly coming from another room.

"I'm sure when he wakes up he'll want to know answers." Kurt gasped. That voice sounded like Guude's.

"Yeah, and he will want them cautiously. We don't want to fill him with to much panic, or else he'll lose himself again." Jsano.

"Are you sure he'd want to see us...? Maybe he'll blame us for everything because we were dicking around." Kurt barely recognized the sad tone as Anders.

'Blame us...? Blame who for what?'

"Anders, you know Kurt. He'll probably just, wave it off." Guude's voice said, remarkably closer than last time. Another door opened, and the next voice sounded like it was in the room with him.

"Whatever he does, let's just hope it doesn't have to do with a panic attack." Jsano's voice suddenly got quiet, as all the voices stopped. Kurt tilted his head, trying to hear the voices of his friends again, but only got the sound of crickets and creaky floorboards. Kurt cleared his throat.

"H-Hello...?" Kurt called, hearing a couple of shuffles before the sound of footsteps walking towards him.

"Hey Kurt... How you feeling?" Guude asked from his left. Kurt bowed his head before sighing.

"I-I dunno... Confused, I guess. What happened?" Kurt asked, looking around to try and find where each of the others went.

"Let's start with this, what's the last thing you remember?" Guude asked again. Kurt could hear the nervous tone in his voice, and he knew there was something wrong.

"We were storming Mojang... Anders and Doc were above me on the second walls taking down sentry points, and I was on the first taking down archers... You started shouting something at me... I turned around... And... Darkness." The Farlander answered, shaking his head as he heard silence once again. Kurt heard someone sigh.

"Kurt. You were attacked from behind by a clawer. I tried warning you, but when you turned around, it had already charged up an attack. You dodged the first one, but..." Guude's voice suddenly trailed off, making Kurt extremely nervous.

"...But...?" Kurt asked. A sigh was heard once more.

"The clawer came around a second time and caught you across the face. It perninately damaged your retina's... There was no way I could recover your eyesight." Jsano's voice rang from Kurt's right. Kurt's breath suddenly became inconsistent. He felt a sudden urge of panic roll over him, as one thought came over his mind.

"I'm... Blind...?" Kurt asked, his voice a barely audible whisper.

"Kurt... I... I'm so sorry... If myself and Anders weren't messing around, we would have seen the clawer... This... This is all our fault." Kurt heard the guilt and sadness in Doc's vocals, which surprised him a slight bit. He has never heard Doc be this sad before, but he knew everyone had to have their off days.

"Doc... Anders... None of this is anyone's fault. It was an honest mistake on both parts, mine and yours. If anyone is to blame, it is I for not watching behind me." Despite the fact that Kurt was in the middle of a panic attack, he still managed to make his voice sound calm. It was silent, before a slight chuckle could be heard.

"Yeah... I guess your right." Anders's voice said. Kurt felt someone pat him on the back.

"Get some rest Kurt. Jsano will let you know how things go from here on, alright?" Guude asked. Kurt just nodded before hearing many pairs of footsteps walking away from him. A door closed, and Kurt layed down. This wasn't going to stop him, and it sure as hell wasn't going to slow him down.

He is calm and resourceful, and is the brains behind most of the scouting opperations he goes on. Is wanted for treason, murder, assault, manslaughter, theft, and seven other unknown crimes. Magic = Teleportation/Auras, Codename: KurtJMac:>

The second paced back and forth, his hands behind his back and his head hung low. He had short, dark brown hair, blue eyes, black shaved beard, purple tee-shirt, blue roughed up jeans, blue and black shoes, and a belt that had the flag of the Swedish country.

<:Anders Zelulous is the towns blacksmith, and is really good friends with Doc M. He is extremely cocky, and is quite sly during missions. He is wanted for manslaughter, treason, unnecessary manslaughter, involentary manslaughter, volentary manslaughter, murder, and seventeen other unknown crimes that probably involved murder. Magic = Terrakenesis, Codename: AnderZEL:>

<:Steffen Mœsnæ is the towns mechanical expert, and is really good friends with Anders Zelulous. He is calm and collected, but every now and then panics for no complete reason. He is wanted for treason, theft, and murder. Magic: Plasma, Codename: DocM:>

Anders came to a stop, swiftly checking the watch on his wrist before continuing to pace. Kurt groaned, tilting his head to the side enough to watch the Swede's pacing.

"You've been pacing for twenty minutes now, when are you going to stop?" Kurt asked, pushing the 3-D glasses further upon the bridge of his nose as he pushed himself off the gate post. Anders stopped and looked at Kurt.

"When Guude's actually on time for once." Anders informed, his accented voice reading a mixture of annoyance and impatience. Doc chuckled.

"Guude's not late, Anders. We just got here a little early, is all." Doc said, his German vocals sounding slightly echoey. Anders stopped and checked his watch again, groaning and slumping forwards as he realized his robotic friend was right.

"Sorry, I'm just a slight bit excited. Guude hasn't had me do anything for him in months." Anders apologized. Doc nodded.

"Yes, now that you've mentioned it, the last time I left this village was three months ago for the... Uhg... Monitor exibition..." Doc said, shuddering in between the sentances. Kurt chuckled lightly, shaking his head as he saw Guude, Pause, Beef, and Baj walking towards them.

"You four took your sweet time." Kurt commented as the four came to a stop in front of them. Guude sighed.

"Sorry about that... Had to get a bit more information off of Avidya and Mhykol." Guude apologized to the group. Doc chuckled.

"I'm pretty sure any longer and Anders would've had a brain aneurism." Doc joked, slightly nudging his Swedish friend as Anders lowered his head.

"Well, I'm excited! What do you need us for?" Anders asked, placing his hands on his hips as his mouth curled into a confident smirk.

"I need you three to join us on a search and destroy mission in Mojang." Guude informed. Kurt looked puzzled.

"Search and destroy? What did Mhykol and Avidya find out?" Kurt asked the leader.

"Apperently there's another building being built, and if Mhykol's dimensions are correct, it's bigger than the castle itself." Pause told them. Anders punched his hands together, a chuckle escaping his mouth.

"Leave this to us, Guude. We'll have the building destroyed before king Dinnerboobie even knew what hit him!" Anders said confidently. Guude rose an eyebrow.

'King Dinnerboobie...? God dammit Anders'
===================================

Anders peeked out of the bushes, his robotic companion doing the same a short distance away from them. The walls of Mojang were made of solid obsidian, and flags of red hung off the sides. Outlooking posts were at every corner with sentries of at least fourteen guards walking around each side. Anders and Doc retreated back into the bushes, were they wondered back to the group of Guude, Kurt, Pause, Beef, and Baj.

"There's a lot of guards, and security is higher than normal." Anders informed. Guude pondered, placing his hand on his chin.

"I wonder why king Dinnerbone would raise security..." Guude said to himself.

"Doesn't matter. We have to stop him before he can get anywhere." Pause shouted, slamming his fist into the palm of his hand excitedly. Guude nodded.

"Your right. Here's the plan." Guude said as the team of seven leaned closer together, listening intently as their leader layed everything down.
===================================

As Guude and them reached the walls, arrows instantly started raining down upon them. Guude growled, shielding himself from the line of fire behind a tree as he watched his team split up. Pause and Beef were beside him, each with their own respective vantage points. Guude looked at Pause.

"Pause! Return fire!" Guude ordered. The native smiled, putting up his hands as a couple of sharp arrows appeared from nowhere. Pause left his cover from behind the tree, pointing his hands at the sentry points as arrows flew their way. The arrows killed many guards, but not enough to slow them down.

Kurt was slightly to the right of Guude, but not to close. He watched as Anders and Doc stormed the walls, knocking down the sentry points and killing any guards that got in their way. Kurt growled. Knewing he had to do something, Kurt allowed his blue and red aura to surround his hands, thinking of a place before disappearing.

The trench coated man appeared behind a sentry guard, poking him on the shoulder and pushing him off as the unknowing guard turned to face him. Kurt ducked as an arrow whizzed his way, unshesthing his sword and teleporting behind the guard that did so. Kurt then stabbed the poor guard in the neck. Kurt glanced up, giggling as he saw Anders and Doc chucking a guard at each other.

"It's like ping pong..." The calm man joked. Guude wasn't used to this kind of behaviour from Kurt. The Farlander normally didn't like violence, but was amazed to see him fighting with the Swede and the German. Suddenly, Guude watched as a guard jumped down from the higher walls behind Kurt, the guard wielding two bear like claws on each hand. Guude gasped.

"KURT! BEHIND YOU! A CLAWER!" Guude shouted. Kurt saw his leader pointing behind him, screaming something he could not hear. Kurt looked at him puzzled before finally hearing a word that made him shiver. Clawer. Clawers were guards that wielded massive claws that could cut through obsidian, and flesh like butter.

Foolishly, Kurt turned around. The Farlander watched as the clawer guard took a running sprint towards him, slashing at him once and missing to the left. The obsidian wall cut and fell to the floor, a smooth and even edge where the cut had been made all being left of the corner that once was. Kurt gasped, seeing the other hand coming his way to fast for him to react to. There was no dodging this one. A tear of flesh and a scream was heard, as Kurt's once colourful vision turned to pitch black darkness.
