N. Gin Drawing by Endergirl1212cookie N. Gin Drawing by Endergirl1212cookie
OH LOOK, SOMETHING THAT'S NOT RELATED TO INVADER ZIM!! I'm drawing other stuff that's not Invader Zim, don't worry.
ATTENTION, if you want to criticize this piece please go down and read the "Conclusion Thing" Paragraph, and then leave your thoughts!

ANYWAYS, this is N. Gin from the Crash Bandicoot series, you know...from like 1996?! By Naughty Dog?! (Naughty Dog made the first 3 Crash Bandicoot games plus a racing CB game). Surely some of you guys will recognize this, I hope. I was first exposed to Crash when I was younger, like way younger, maybe 6-7 years ago!? (I'd be like 7 or 8) My first ever electronic game device was a Gameboy Advance SP. My parents got me a game that had 2 games within it, it was that Crash and Spyro crossover Gameboy game (Crash Bandicoot the Huge Adventure) (Spyro Season of Ice) Me and my sister liked both games and that's actually how we found out about Crash and Spyro.( Like many others, my sister and I thought Crash was a fox, boy were we wrong. Luckily we later found out that he's a bandicoot, which is a real animal. Yep. It's in the title but I guess we thought 'bandicoot' was some made up word that's not an animal.) It took forever to beat the Crash game, it took like 3 years surprisingly, because we got stuck and could not find a way to proceed. The 2nd to last area right before you fight Dr. Neo Cortex was just...impossible, eventually we beat it but it took quite a while. One of the bosses, N. Gin, was a difficult one but, we defeated him soon after we tried to kill him a few times. Something about his boss self portrait scared me, the missile in his head and the creepy glare he gave was just unsettling. In fact his overall design was just creepy to me as a child. The missing part of his face is what probably disturbed me the most. Fast forward some years and I now have an Xbox 360. My sister starts talking about Crash again and shows me the games from the PlayStation, the original 3. Me and her actually didn't know Crash was originally from PlayStation, we just thought he was another character on the GameBoy. We also found out that we'd been pronouncing N. Gin's name wrong. We'd always called him N. Gin but the Gin part with an actual G INSTEAD of saying it like "Jin." We didn't know back then that It was actually suppose to sound like "Jin" ( And yes, his name is a pun of the word 'Engine' since he makes vehicles and machines which have an engine. But please DO KNOW that I still mostly call N. Gin my version of saying N.Gin, I'm so used to it and grew up most of my life knowing it that way so it's very difficult to change and pronounce it the actual way, so if we are talking please don't get mad if I say it my version, please and thank you.) We then get Crash of the Titans, (which I think is kinda bad, just doesn't feel like a Crash game, if it was not a CB game it'd be a pretty good game overall even with no Crash.) However there are quite some good voices for the game. I liked Crash's gibberish speech, Aku Aku who got voiced by Greg Eagles who voiced Grim from The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, (It's a really good show) I really liked Cortex's voice, Lex Lang had a perfect goofy evil villain voice for him, and N. Gin ( voiced by Nolan North) had the most weirdest/funniest voice. N. Gin was really crazy and had lost his mind. Last time I'd seen N. Gin he was controlling and making machines but now he just seemed broken. His new personality was very good and It made him more of a lovable character to me. The color change to N. Gin, however, isn't very good. The blue skin tone and blue-ish black hair just doesn't seem right, I can understand why they changed it, to make N. Gin a bit more darker and evil to fit along with Cortex's and Nina's dark, evil color scheme, and another reason why his skin/hair may have changed is because of the damage the missile has done to his body. If you notice, the missile seems to have driven deeper into his skull which then resulted in more brain damage which can explain why he's so weird and acts crazy, and his skin is definitely changing, (probably due to the increasing damage to his body) to more of a pale blue, like a zombie, it could very well be he's dying from all this damage.(R.I.P N. Gin) That's my theory about it though.

My sister recently has been getting me into Crash Bandicoot again as it has a Remaster of the first 3 games coming soon which will be quite exciting. And now to conclude this long description which surprisingly took 5 freaking hours to write! My arms and fingers hurt, wait! (Incoming Crash Bandicoot joke that only CB fans should understand.) "BOY ARE MY ARMS TIRED, HAAAAAAA!!" Anyways, because of all the time used to write this there is probably not going to be a video up today, eh, for now just gaze upon my decently made N. Gin which I drew at school (I HAD NO REFERENCES SO IF IT LOOKS BAD AND IS MISSING SEVERAL DETAILS, THAT'S WHY, SORRY.) I hope I did good, I tried my best and hopefully the colors look good. (The coloring on the ears is complete trash though, the color didn't mix well with the pencil and kinda ruined it oops.) I think the best thing in the picture is the hair coloring/shading. It looks pretty good I think. Feel free to criticize me but PLEASE DO NOT touch on the ears as they were an ultimate failure even from the beginning.

Top 3 Favorite Characters?
Answer: 1. N. Gin 2. Dr. Neo Cortex 3. Crash Bandicoot

Favorite Level?
A: Don't have one but I kinda like the chase levels.

Favorite Crash Game and why?
A: Twinsanity, because teaming up with the main villain is just perfect and hilarious. There are funny Cortex moments that are just amazing. You pretty much get it.

Favorite Villain and why?
A: N. Gin, because fighting machines and cyborg people seems pretty rad to me. The character design, and cyborg face looks epic and creepy, especially that huge eye. Gin is a smol chub, pretty short like me but he's kinda chubby, sorta waddles when he moves, idk why but it's pretty funny to me, ( lol, at least N. Gin did in Twinsanity. When you circle him, N. Gin waddles!) he's a unique character. N. Gin's personality in the newer games is hilarious and interesting, plus the new voice he has is goofy, crazy, and amazing! I'll stop here but I could go on.

What Character do you despise and why?
A: Crunch.....just Crunch....Nope. I don't think I need to explain.

Least Favorite Game and why?
A: Wrath of Cortex. The graphics may have improved since we last saw Crash but, God, this game is bad. Cortex looks terrifying and like all the bosses are Crunch. Just no.

If you seriously just read the entire description then THANK YOU SO MUCH and here's a special gift from me for reading the whole thing. "You are awesome! Thank you for taking time out of your day to read this." From Ender. Pat yourself on the back and have a cookie!

If you enjoyed this art piece, favorite it and why not donate some points to help support my art?
Thank you for viewing and bye!

The first game I ever saw N.Gin in was Wrath of Cortex and due to how the graphics made him look and a lack of information of him I had at the time. I thought that he was some really weird android that had a rocket as a part of his head and half his exoskeleton showing. Oh boy when I actually found out the whole deal with the rocket I developed a massive soft spot for him.
I don't mind N.Gin in the later games since I actually believe the whole thing about the rocket poisoning him and damaging his brain even more too. Kinda feel a bit bad for him as well because Cortex started abusing him and then abandons him in Mind Over Mutant. Also I love him in Tag Team Racing cause of the things he says AND HIS ROCKET LAUNCHER IS JUST SO POWERFUL!
But I don't like him in Twinsanity though....I don't hate Twinsanity it's just that N.Gin was portrayed in a way that I personally felt ''No..just no that's just not N.Gin!''
