A rework of an old painting of mine. This was a bit difficult because I did not have any layers to work with...just a flat copy :( 100% imagination, no references were used for any part of the painting.

- Worked on her form/pose (ignore her feet).
- Refining her hair more
- Blending the skin and adding more shading/highlights
- Modified her nose and face shape
- Adjusted her breasts to look more natural
- De-saturated and changed overall coloring.

Updates:
- Tried to make the colors somewhat similar to the original and also brightened up the painting a notch

Below is a link to the original painting.

background - awesome! Looks really good color wise and shape wise, with those sexy shrooms. Really like the transition in the hair, I think it works really well.
However, I'm not sure what's up with that creature in the right hand corner. He seems like he doesnt belong, style wise and idea wise. He can be a squirrel living in that tree, but still, he looks like a glowing neon scribble :P
p.s- Something I pay attention to, the boob looks a bit squashed. Mostly because of the outer shape and the dark tone underneath it.

Thanks a lot for the feedback bro! Yea, I have had a few people ask what the hell the squirrel is doing in the picture and how it doesn't fit. I don't really have an answer anymore. It seemed like a good idea at the time when I first started the painting...then I pretty much abandoned it and focused primarily on the girl and left the squirrel in the sketch phase. :(

Her boobs do look squashed...will have to loosen her strap a bit lol ;)

Oh well, poor squirrel is overlooking because of a GIRL :P
Keep up practicing the boob science bro!

What is the little critter on the right? For me, it doesn't match the rest of the pic...

It is meant to be a fantasy squirrel.

as a fan of bright color I like the older version better BUT I have to say that you made a great work on body shape, expecially the face is much cuter and beautiful  so nice job! :D :D

Thank you very much SpigaRose! I actually tried to change the colors after several similar comments. Not exactly the same, but the colors are closer now :)

I like the colors in the old version, but you surely fixed her body shape, it looks A LOT better than the old one, more natural. In the old version her body looked stiff, here it has more elegance.

Thank you very much! Yea, I definitely saw an issue with her body as soon as I looked at. I have been doing sketches and studies to try and learn anatomy. I guess it is paying off. I just need to start doing a lot of hand and feet studies :(

I also tweaked the color a bit to try and make it the same as the original. Not sure I succeeded, but it is closer now.

It looks good now! Yeah tell me about hands.. XD they have been a pain for years to me. I always have to watch myself in the mirror or take pics to get them right.:P

I always forget I could take photos of myself or have my wife help for references! I think I am going to start doing that for random poses or studies. The only problem is the lighting :(

I have to say I like the colors of the original better. More vivid. Feels more like a fantasy as opposed to this one.
But you changed her body for the better in this one. Her nose and mouth still look a bit off but if you only got a copy to work with you can't do everything I guess :P

Yea, you are right. The original had a more fantasy feel to it with the really vibrant colors. I updated the colors to somewhat look the same as the original. Not quite there, but it is a least brighter and colorful.
