Before I introduce myself and share my interests, I want you to know that you are the most unique person in existence. There is legitimately no one like you! You are special, you are awesome, and you are loved by the Master of the universe. Never underestimate your worth. Even if you don't believe in God as I do, He still loves you, and I will do everything I can to convey that love to you. After all, everyone deserves to feel loved, to feel complete and confident. God gives me completion and confidence, and I know He can do that for you, too, if you accept Him.

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9, KJV.

Name's Hannah! I'm a 20 year-old Christian female and I aspire to be a game designer or character designer some day, though I do seem to find a big interest in conceptual art. I am currently attending college to gain a Bachelors Degree in Game Design with hopes to get a job at Epic Games or to be able to work for an indie developer, if that option is available first.

I like to draw cute characters, cool characters, and characters in general. Designing things is my specialty, and I am always up for drawing family-friendly/SFW (safe-for-work) stuff. I'm always learning new ways to improve my art, and I try to spice things up as often as I can.

I'm a lover, not a fighter, and I'm a hopeless-romantic with heartstrings of steel; it takes a tough break to get me down.

I was homeschooled all of my life; I really only grew up associating with friends at church. Thus, my behavior probably seems unusual, but I believe in being transparent and real. When I talk to people, I want to make a connection, make them laugh/smile, and treat them in a way that makes them feel confident and special, all while being honest with them. After all, God made us all special, so why not act like it?

I'm always up for a friendly chat. Though I may not say much, I will always be willing to listen and respond to the best of my ability.

I love to talk about my characters, but I usually won't do so in a conversation, preferring instead to just write about them in descriptions.

I believe I am very approachable, and I promise that I'll try not to bite.

As an adult, my spiritual, moral and ethical convictions are to stand by the Bible, which means that I vote Republican; I am pro-life, I support guns, I stand against socialism and communism; I don't support nor condone racism, LGBTQ+ lifestyles, etc., but I will respect all people regardless of their ethnicity, sex, or beliefs. I support our troops and thank them whenever I can, and I stand for and by our flag, for and by our nation, and for and by our people.

Since I am willing to offer my respect to you regardless of your beliefs, then I ask that you extend yours and respect mine. If you do not agree with me, then you do not have to associate yourself with me in any way, shape, or form, nor do I you.

I know that I have young kids (and even older kids) following me and watching what I do and how I react to any given situation, and I want to be an example to them by being a mature, intelligent and capable individual above all else so that they don't misplace their judgments in me. I know what it's like to be let down by your role model, and I try to do what I can to prevent that from happening to those who may admire and respect me. After all, my reputation may be marred by others, but it doesn't have to be marred by me.

I haven't much to say other than I do not favor the usage of cuss-words and I will not tolerate rude remarks, disrespect and/or profanity, especially when they concern Biblical truths, my beliefs, my moral convictions and my stances. You are welcome to do that on your profile as that is your right, but do not do it on mine.

My story:

My art journey began as a child. I've been drawing since I could pick up a pencil, mostly beginning by drawing characters from my favorite movies and games growing up: Kirby, Rayman, Mario characters, Herbie, Willy from the Free Willy movies, Wall-E and Eve, and my own made-up characters and fan characters along the way. Sometimes, I would even draw moments when my family would get on my teensy little kid nerves.

Around 2007, I got a Nintendo DSI and found out about Flipnote Hatena. Imagine my excitement when my parents actually allowed me to make an account. For the next 5-6 years I made Flipnotes on and off. I copied other people's art styles a lot, and really just animated lip-syncs and eyes blinking for the first few years, even adding my own voice (sped up to sound like a chipmunk, of course). Overtime, I learned to animate a bit better. But after I was grounded a few times for staying up late making animations, I eventually lost interest in animating (that, and I was super self-conscious about my animations at the time). As of now, my Flipnote obsession was just a stage in my artistic journey during my earlier middle school years.

In 2011-ish, I picked up My Little Pony and literally fell head-over-heels for the character designs and the show, going as far as to practically devote the next five years of my life to participating in the fandom. During that time, I discovered Google+ and spent the majority of my teenage years there. While there, I learned about digital art, learning to better develop my characters and their lore, and improving my art. I participate in many fandoms during that time, including Transformers, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, Steven Universe, etc.

I'd been in the digital art community for years (if you count MS Paint), and though I did not make a personal DeviantArt account until I was 14 (I did it without permission, too... 😅), I've been a part of the DA community since I was probably 11 (I used to borrow my sister's IPod to look up My Little Pony stuff on DeviantArt).

After I sacrificed MS Paint in favor of Artflow Studio later on, I would draw with my finger on my tablet, tracing over my sketches. It was very cumbersome.

In 2015, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. For the next 3 years, life was a constant emotional roller coaster as my family and I struggled to trust God and remain hopeful. Because I was so introverted, I relied heavily on social media and my tendancy to draw to keep myself occupied and destress. I struggled with suicidal thoughts and depression very often, and I would get very anxious at times because I could not find proper ways to vent outside of art and social media. However, God was maturing me, and though it hurt then, I know that it was worth it now.

In 2017, I purchased my first art tablet and began to draw digitally more permanently. Soon afterwards, I got my first (and current) job and was able to develop a better sense of confidence and self-worth.

In 2018, I graduated homeschool and joined the nearby community college. Up until this point, I had always hated and despised school; I ended up drawing more in my notebooks and textbooks than I did writing notes. However, once I reached college, I quickly fell in love with the setup and made it to graduation in May of 2020 with straight A's and an Associates Degree in Game Design and Development.

As of now, I am pursuing a Bachelors in Game Design, I still work at my first job, and I love my car and all of my computers. I have gone through much mental turmoil over the years, but God has given me the strength to move on, and I am stronger now because of my scars.
