I drew this at the pinnacle of a very difficult time in my life. I had some big decisions to make, that I was being bullied into.
The one thing I love about art is sometimes things come out of you that you didn't even know were there. When I drew this, I saw how I was actually feeling. It was there, plain as day, in black and white.
Pain can create beauty.
For a long time whenever I looked at her, I felt what is clearly written on her face.
This picture helped me heal though. I am not very good at expressing my emotions verbally, and it ends up coming out through my artwork. It's like a release for me. I learn so much about myself after I see a finished peice.

I just drew this with mostly a 4hb pencil. I think this may be my favourite pencil sketch that I have ever done.
I hope you all enjoy it, and are able to grasp the emotion and feeling behind it.

Art is wonderful therapy, I think. When I have had difficult times in my life, I drew, or wrote poetry (mostly poetry) and it was a catharsis for me of sorts. I hope that the difficult time is behind you and life is going much better for you now.

You've got a lot of talent. The emotion of this drawing is very clear and the mechanics are well executed and realistic.

Isn't it strange how the stronger you feel emotion, especially negative ones, the more captivating artwork can become?

That was a pretty rough time for me. I felt what was clearly written on her face. But you know, time has passed, and I have healed, and the world is a beautiful place again.

Thank you so much for your kind words :)
