Velociraptor mongoliensis by EmperorDinobot Velociraptor mongoliensis by EmperorDinobot
Oy...Velociraptor. I didn't know what dinosaur to do, so I broke down and went all...eh.

To those who were waiting for me to do something weird exotic and unheard of, I am sorry. But I was half drugged and felt that if I did a Velociraptor, I could probably nail it. And I did!

Yay!!! My favourite one! I think they should do a modern remake of Jurassic park cus then it would be so amazing and the dinosaurs more accurate.

I love the shape of this one. It's slightly awkward looking.

Velociraptors are awkward in a sense. Very specialized dinosaurs.

Me gusta mucho la textura del dibujo xD. Y siendo un Velociraptor gana enteros :)

Hahaha si verdad. Nunca dibujo comunes, pero...casi nunca hago Dromaeosauridos, y el Velociraptor es iconico.

Nice job on a commonly-used dinosaur! (Even if the Jurassic Park ones looked more like Deinonychus.)

The Jurassic Park one is a freak. Back then, some paleontologists thought that Velociraptor and Deinonychus were probably the same genus, just different species, but back then dinosaur Taxonomy was thought to be less complex than what it is now. And so it became the great confusion in JP. MC has stated that the one InGen made was a circus freak of a dinosaur.

And it is quite overused, but someones, one feels one can nail a dinosaur easily. This is such a case

I read your posting about commenting before adding your work to favorites.
I don't have time to comment because I review around 100 works each day here. I like your work a lot and only added it to build up my collection of dinosaur drawings, sculptures and paintings. I'm pretty picky about dinosaur works and won't add anything that appears structured incorrectly. Your work appears accurate. I've added all of your work so far.

It's k, really. It's just an encouragement, y'know. I'm deeply, immensely flattered by you adding all my drawings (you didn't add Erketu, but he's...Erketu!XD). There's no obligation. But lately, I've uploaded some more stuff, and gotten too little comments for them, and they're somewhat dubious species, so I don't know how people feel abot them. And trust me, I gotta know. I'm obsessive that way

ok, but anatomically.. it's all long-nosed and big-eyed and swift.. so it reminds me of the blue shark. XD

zomg. xD I got super-exited just reading the title in my devwatch. *snick* you should have heard my reaction. I think I might have passed for a raptor myself from hearing what they -possibly- sound like in movies and stuff. xDD

-cough- that aside, I can agree that you nailed it. I honestly prefer scaly raptors over feathery, but that's my opinion ^^;

...I really hope you mean medicinal drugs.

I'll be excited if you draw the other raptors, to 8DDD

There's a Buitreraptor somewhere in my gallery. I'm not so keen on raptors. I hate drawing feathers, and I suck at them. But You'll be seeing more as time goes by.

I'm glad you're excited XD

I also drew it because it'd boost my pageviews.

Buitraptor eh? O.o *goes to look* too many dinos I haven't heard of before! :slamhead:

you're not alone in that... I like angel wings but my feathers don't even turn out fuzzy xDD so I just draw angel wings like... well you saw my comic with SFRB shoop-da-whooping right? I just draw the bone thingy and then I just draw the feathers how I normally do fur

I sees. raptors are the only dinosaurs where I've managed to make them look good. I used to doodle sauropods all over, but I was young at that time and I guess they looked more like worms when it was a head poking up the side of the paper |D

However, I've been doing lots of feathered ones lately. You'll see nothing but feathered dinos for a while here. I need more maniraptorans. My gallery is STILL dominated by Sauropodomorpha. Sauropods are far more complex than any other dinosaurs in my honest opinion.
