Spinosaurus aegyptiacus version 2 by EmperorDinobot Spinosaurus aegyptiacus version 2 by EmperorDinobot
I...I don't know. I wanted to do something new with Spinosaurus...Something all new yesterdays like. At least I can now say "they don't call him thorn lizard for nothing!" lololololol. I really felt bad giving it protofeathers, but this seems to be the it thing now.

T-shirt available upon request, print also available.

Comments are always appreciated and thanks for looking!

Well at least you gave him protofeathers and not flight feathers. Too many people these days just throw asymmetrical flight feathers on any old dinosaur when there's no way that it could have flown.

You don't *have* to give spinosaurs feathers as there isn't any real consensus on how far back they go. We know abelisaurs (or at least Carnotaurus) had scales, and even Tyrannosaurus had some scales as an adult, so for such a large, unknown animal I think either is acceptable :)

Either way, I love your original plausibility!

I would NEVER give an abelisaur feathers. NEVER.

Now THIS is the kind of paleoart I like to see! It remains accurate while still being wildly unique.

Thorntacular. Thorny, like a rose. A big, fat rose hungry for big bad fish.
