Description

Panoplosaurus was a nodosaur armored from head to tail. Its skull was basically one big helmet. Its very closely related to Edmontonia, with the difference that it didn't have the huge flank spikes that Edmontonia did. Panoplosaurus means 'well armored lizard'.
