Ouranosaurus nigeriensis by EmperorDinobot Ouranosaurus nigeriensis by EmperorDinobot
I do a dinosaur per day. :) Shirt is available of this. Only say the word, and LGPP Originals (C) Brand Name Ouranosaurus nigeriensis tee shirt will be yours!!!

Anywho, so I wanted to do something different than what's been done. Ouranosaurus is a well known animal, but they are most often drawn in the exact same way over and over again. This Ouranosaurus supports a fatty hump rather than a sail. It's quite an impressive hump, too, serving a fat deposits, signaling, and thermoregulation. I didn't exactly give him fur or feathers, but he is hairy...ever seen a hairy-er than usual elephant? Yeaah. Complete with beard and all.

Anywho, comments are always appreciated :eager: and thanks for lookin'!

Awesome job! :)

Wait 'till you see MY Styracosaurus. Been sort of delayed in finishing Brachiosaurus. Ugh. It's just I'm not too happy of how it's coming out.

This is brilliant :D I've always kinda liked Ouranosaurus; it's too often overlooked.

I wouldn't say "crazy", haha xD There isn't anything in this that isn't plausible, at least to my eye :D

Did you see that Spino that Paul Sereno had comissioned with the weird hump and the crocodile like lifestyle? Everyone went nuts with the "heron crocodile but mostly crocodile" thing. LOL. Puh-lease. I went with Bear Camel Chicken. Mostly bear. Big fat reptilian bear. Same for the Brave reptile.

Ouranosauruses, Ouranosauruss, however you plural that, are very neat! They are a great conterpart to the Spinosauride Aegyptiacus.

I will be posting a whole bunch of African and European animals. They are grossly underrepresented in this gallery, which is mostly dinosaurs in the Americas and Asian dinosaurs. So keep watching. You'll be seeing things like Giraffatitan, Lesothosaurus, Heterodontosaurus, Deltadromeus, Paralititan, and so on.

Now this looks good, everyone's always talking about Spinosaurus and his hump/ridge/sail thing but Ouranosaurus always gets forgotten apparently.

Nice work, the hump really fits the animal, also I really like your work on it's head. :D

Great work!  It's nice to see a beefy Ouranosaurus.

The beefier these Cretaceous cows, the better. I will never draw a hadrosaur that is merely skin on a skeleton ever again.
