Omeisaurus tianfuensis by EmperorDinobot Omeisaurus tianfuensis by EmperorDinobot
This extraordinary sauropod may not even BE Omeisaurus, but is certainly as close as it can get to Omeisaurus.

*disclaimer*: My scanner sucks. This thing looks too light and I'm afraid there isn't much I can do about it. If I mess with it digitally, I'll screw it up badly!
He looks a LOT better in person.

I'm loving his Ampelosaurus. Very very nice. I know my dinosaurs are plain and so on, but they're mostly for the archive.

Never said your dinos are plain.... But one thing I know is "learn from the masters" tips and tricks you pick up from them make you leap frog in skill level, and just thought i might help you out by introducing you to that artist. His worked on a couple of films including disneys Dinosaurs and so on. As well as he has some classes down at Gnomon School of Visual effects in Hollywood if your ever interested.

Lol @ Dinosaurs & lips on beaked dinosaurs.
And lemurs.

Don't get me wrong, I love the movie, but...it has millions of issues.

But he's a great artist. If I lived in Cali, I'd definitely give him a visit. I don't know many paleoartists except the ones I'm watching. I also looked into your stuff. Pretty nice!

And I know you didn't say my dinos are plain, but I am saying that. Especially about this Omeisaurus. He is seriously lacking. But I think it's 'coz of the scan. The scanner I have is sooo freaking bad...Even at 300 dpi, I can't make it go higher to a 360 dpi, because it's set, and...well, there's another one coming tonight of the same type. We'll see which one beats the other

YIKES!!!!

Horizontal neck on a Euhelopodid!
Or Any macronarian.... BAD BOY! :chainsaw: You've been reading that hack Kent Stevens again I bet. :bleh:

The pic looks ok but that neck's really buggin' me lol. BTW I have a shitty scanner too but... well I let my work speak for itself... you CAN get good results even on a bad scanner.

Lol dude it was a joke 8-)

Hence the wacky emoticons. Though my previous comment on having a bad scanner still holds true. Mine makes weird grumbling and hissing noises. And the res doesn't go far above 300 dpi.
