Bagon are smallish, rare dragon or dinosaur like Pokemon. They are agile, sturdy and in contempt of anything in their way. They feed on Solrock bits, and on Whiscash. With the minerals gathered, they make their head armor very strong and steely. They also form small packs where they contest against each other, leaping down monds or cliffs, for the purpose of hardening their skulls, attracting mates, and evolving to Shelgons. Those who do evolve eventually evolve shield like skins, that when in its apex, surround the entire body, hindering their movement, but making them near invincible. This is a rite of passage for these smart, somewhat civilized but rare pokemon. Should a trainer find it and catch it, the Bagon will be loyal to both the trainer, and to the clan it was born into. They retain their 'wild side'evidenced by their battling style. Loyal to the trainer, but always willing to go back. This makes them a bit whiny, and they cry at nights without end, yearning for their family. To quench this familial thirst, they bump heads with the ground, rocks or other pokemon, adding to their quick strenghtening program. Then they eventually calm themselves down and accept their new families. This is why it is advised to not catch this pokemon. In essence, it's a reptillian baby with quick speed, reflexes and senses. If one trainer manages to truly befriend one, they will become lifelong friends and allies.
