My Bio
EMPAYA Comics is a duo of comicbook creators, who love adventure comics full of action and create such, with their motto being "Comics are fun!". Martin Plško and Vladimír Schmidt are from Slovakia but create comics understandable for everyone, not depending on geographic location or cultural inheritance.

Oh, yes, and what does Empaya mean? Empire. That´s a very modest comicbook goal.

Top 5 mistakes when creating comics: Gail Simone
Dead men defrosting is an accompanying article on the Women in refrigerators website. You can read it here, it´s not long:
www.lby3.com/wir/r-jbartol2.ht…

Male comic book heroes have tended to die heroically and be magically brought back from the dead afterwards, female characters have been likelier to be casually but irreparably wounded or killed, often in a sexualized fashion.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_in…

Martin, our writer/artist from RONIN BLOOD, had planned a similar tragic death of a female character in his story, but rewrote it afterwards, after realizing it can be done differently and without a useless death. Instead the female character got her own character arc and brought much more to the story.

The examples gathered by Gail and co. are evident, Andrew. So is the US-wide discussion. Even "Dead Men Defrosting" seems to be a real thing.
