Time for another challenge. Oh goody. This time, the challenge is to create a new emoticon, from scratch, which varies differently from your current emote style in the aspect of size. This could mean that you; use larger or smaller emote bases, end with a larger or smaller file size, use a larger or smaller canvas than normal, or any combination/meaning of the term not listed here.
Timeline
October 14th, 2013.
Each emoticonist who is wanting to participate in this challenge must have their Participant Questionnaire submitted by 11:59pm MSt (GMT-6). Each emoticonist should also become of a member of the group (Emote-Style-Swap), in order to be able to submit to the gallery.October 15th, 2013.
Each emoticonist will be matched up with a deviant whose style is different than their own, based on their answers to the Participant Questionnaire.Compatibility Score: Out of the twelve questions, this score is the number that both members of that pairing shared. Pairings will be optimized to have the lowest overall Compatibility Score for every and all pairings.
November 15th, 2013.
Each emoticonist will submit their new emoticon to the Emoticon Size Challenge gallery prior to this date. The challenge will be closed on this date.Please include in the description of your deviation how that deviation relates to the theme of this challenge, and stipulate that it is for this challenge.
Important
Your swap partner is important. You will each be "joined at the hip", so to speak. Their advice in choosing your emoticon to revamp is invaluable, and their feedback on your work-in-progress should not be discounted. Conversely, you will be asked to help them choose an emoticon that would best work for this challenge, and give feedback on their work-in-progress to help them excel in the current challenge.I would recommend heavy use of the note system (or other messaging, as applicable), and stash.
