I stumbled upon this thing called the 100 Themes Challenge, which is a group that has 5 "variations" or lists of words and phrases that act as prompts to the artist's work.



I have decided to take part because I like challenges and I have a couple of art shows to get ready for in the fall. The idea of having 100 pieces ready to divide into two galleries and a weekend show is very appealing. But I really want to stick to my realism-guns, which means I need to spend about 8-20 hours on each of them, or basically, I got to crank one out each day or so. Granted, I know some will take longer than others, and that is okay. There's no time limit on this challenge and I don't have to have 100 pieces for the upcoming shows, though that would be nice. I have other work already available, anyway, as long as they are not sold beforehand.

It's really easy- just leave a comment to this blog guessing which of the remaining themes I will work on next! If you guess the correct one or come closer to it then anyone else does in the time it takes me to complete the artwork, then I will feature your artwork in the next update!

In the case of a tie, I will feature all winners!

Well, the second edition to the 100 Themes Challenge has been posted, and therefore, it is time to select a winner...who came closest to the picking "Seeing Red"? Here are the results:
