Yes, creative liberties can be taken, but let's not pretend that a couple where one wants to abuse and murder the other is "good". Y'all can do better than that; let's celebrate actual healthy relationships. Creative liberties has nothing to do with also believing that that couple is okay. It kind of infers something is wrong with how they view relationships, and might mean they don't see where things could be toxic. Some people in the comments were even saying that this couple were clearly flirting in the movie if we choose to interpret it that way, which... how? Murder? YES, we should call it out, and YES it is very weird. Not a good thing, even if it is about a fictional couple. That's just not normal, and makes me concerned. No one asked me, you say? They don't really have to XD

I'm not interested in a debate, but I felt that needed to be said. As someone who knows people with abusive spouses, some dangerous, it really hit me different when I saw them celebrating such a morbid concept as if it was a good thing.

Here's a tip, maybe don't give an artist shit for the type of content they posted that you don't like and then at the end be like "btw, love your art", you just sound like a disingenuous prick. And again, no one asked.

Edit: Never mind, saw your profile, aaaaaand you're one of those people...yeah, bit of a mistake coming across you.

That's a general issue I keep coming across, people think I am being dishonest when I say stuff XD I meant what I said, though. I also didn't give them shit at all. There was nothing rude about what I said. A disagreement is not a bad thing. By this logic, any kind of critique or review or opinion is BAD unless it is 100% positive all the time. As an artist myself, I know that is not gonna happen. I welcome the thoughts of people, especially if it is done in a not rude way.

One of "those" kinds of people? That feels like you're unnecessarily going into some hateful territory, but I will hear you out. Why do you hate me? Someone you have never met.

No, it's cuz that your approach is incredibly condescending and disingenuous at the same time. You speak in a manner that makes it look like you're talking down to people, and people generally do not like that kind of engagement.

"I dislike anything woke, pro-abortion, liberal, communist, socialist, etc. I will stand up to that evil until the day I die, and even beyond when I am in Heaven praying for the world I left behind."

This practically tells me everything I need to know, a whole bunch of words coming from someone who talks like a preacher...I do not need that shit floating around.

While I can take your criticism to heart, I have to ask: has the Pandemic been rough on you?
