Dead Leaves Fall and Melt by StemmyBotanist, journal
Dead Leaves Fall and Melt
Now Autumn's fire burns slowly along the woods,
And day by day the dead leaves fall and melt,
And night by night the monitory blast
Wails in the key-hold, telling how it pass'd
O'er empty fields, or upland solitudes,
Or grim wide wave; and now the power is felt
Of melancholy, tenderer in its moods
Than any joy indulgent summer dealt.

Artists of Waterscapes: EmilStojek
I had the pleasure of interviewing the lovely EmilStojek (https://www.deviantart.com/emilstojek), and I will be sharing this interview with you today! Don't forget to check out his full gallery!
Hi! Let's start off with the obvious: Can you tell us a little about yourself?
~EmilStojek (https://www.deviantart.com/emilstojek)
My name is Emil Stojek. I'm 37 years old and live in Warsaw, Poland. I'm a self-taught photographer. I mainly use long exposure technique because for me it is the best way to express my emotions, my view of the world. I shoot mainly waterscapes so the composition, the form is much more clear when I use this technique. I rarely make works in colour. Colour for me must bring something to the pho
Is it sad I can't wait till Christmas?
Don't answer that!
There were so many more people I wanted to feature but my journal is being a grade one turnip! Non of the images were lining up right because it's such an absolute lemon fondling butt waffle!
Mildly OCD over here!
So many things to write / update since my last journal. :aww:
First of all, I want to thank everyone (collectively) who took the time to send me some good thoughts for my birthday. I've turned 26 and thus marked my 10th year on this website, so big thanks to everyone. As soon as i'm done with this journal, i'll start answering people individually. :aww:
In other news, I'm also done with college and am the official owner of a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Not that it helps a lot, since I actually work in IT, but just to give your a glimpse of why I'm not very active in photography at the moment. I've just finished educational work, housewo
