This is awesome! It's cool that you actually stuck with the theme and direction that the movie took then designed around that. That's what design challenges are for, right? This is a really appealing take on that, nice tapering in the limbs! Personally his shoes look a touch mushy, though I can tell you're going for a slightly weathered look in the clothes (with how the white borders have turned pink in the wash, I love that XD). Maybe exaggerating parts of the sports shoe structure a little more, or tapering it to sharpen the silhouette could make him look lighter on his feet and contrast with the thick socks.
I also like that you exaggerated the fur, almost like a Detective Pikachu take on Sonic. Fuzzy but also sleek. All in all, really cool take and I'm glad to see it!
