Nuada and Balor were enemies in the original folklore, so of course Balor had to die before Nuada could move forward with his grand scheme to take back the world for the fae.  However, Goss's showing loyalty to his family (meaning his father AND his sister) and his nation before the coup in the throne room shows piety, respect, and poise have not been forgotten in Nuada's self-imposed exile.  I liked this portrayal of the folklore character; it illustrates the statement, "In every fairytale, the villain is the hero of his own story."

I love this picture. It's beautiful, accurate, and represents something about his character that Luke Goss was allowed to add. According to the behind the scenes information, Nuada did not originally bow to Balor, but Goss argued that he was a respectful and loving son; angered and hurt, but still respectful and loving. You've captured something I think no other fan of the prince has, but that he did display at least twice: humility. Very well done, excellent choice in colours as well.

I think Nuada's humility concerning his father shows quite well in the way how he addresses him and how he looks at him. whenever I am watching the scene where he kills Balor, I am always wondering if he bows to his king or to his father, because I believe it is the least (as if the prince would bow to anyone if it was only for duty...) The entire scene is so very intense and  adds so much depth to his character. I find the controversity of his character very interesting...
I didn't know the bow was not supposed to be in the script, but I am glad Luke Goss added it! :O
Thank you very much for your amazing feedback! I am literally grinning like crazy. So again, thank you so much!
