DinoVember 29: Carnotaurus

Like a lot of people, I was first introduced to Carnotaurus in the Disney movie Dinosaur, which used it as the T. rex stand-in that menaces the heroes. So naturally, for a lot of my childhood, I assumed Carnotaurus was a lot bigger than it actually was. In reality it was fairly lightweight, fast, and agile for a predator of its size, with a weak bite and short claws—it’s often been compared to a cheetah. So instead of some burly fighter, I made my Carnotaurus a ballerina.
