AT-AV Humanoid Walker-- Star Wars concept

Some of the most famous vehicles in the Star Wars saga are the so-called "walkers", such as the AT-AT and the AT-ST. But while these walking vehicles are a ubiquitous part of Star Wars, proper humanoid mechas are almost nonexistent. I'm not entirely sure why, though I certainly can't imagine something like a Gundam (let alone an Evangelion) fitting with the Star Wars aesthetic. But what would a humanoid mecha in Star Wars look like? Let's see what I can do.

Developed alongside the AT-TE All Terrain Tactical Enforcer by Kuat Drive Yards via its Rothana subsidiary, the AT-AV All Terrain Attack Vehicle was intended to use the AT-TE's cockpit, laser cannon, and leg designs attached to an all-new chassis. While the AT-TE's primary function was to deliver clone troopers into battle, the AT-AV was a purely offensive weapon designed to increase the firepower wielded by a single clone trooper. 

AT-AVs were deployed alongside AT-TEs in a number of battles during the Clone Wars, and the walkers quickly developed a reputation for its destructive power in battle. While its right arm was equipped with a grappling claw for lifting heavy objects, the left arm mounted a mass-driver cannon similar too but smaller than that of the AT-TE. Its most glaring weakness was the fact that if one of its legs was damaged, it would be immobilized-- an issue that would also plague later two-legged walkers such as the AT-PT and AT-ST. 

While the AT-AV served fairly well, it was quickly retired when the Galactic Empire rose to power. Most Imperial walker units quickly converted to AT-ATs and AT-STs, and by 15 BBY the last AT-AVs were out of service.
