Wacom eraser Nib do you really use it? Im just too lazy to flip the pen, i preffer picking the eraser inside the software, this is probably because i hated erasing on pencils, because pencils with no eraser looked really bad.

I prefer to hotkey it because it's more accurate for erasing than the nib eraser.

I just use the pen nib but I switch between the brush and eraser with the keyboard shortcuts.

i set one of the side buttons on the pen to erase, so i dont have to turn the pen upside down

I flip the pen without even thinking about it, that is just hard wired into my brain since I started drawing with regular lead HB pencils.  Also this greatly extends the life of your pen nibs.

Have you tried a keypad? They're programmable mini keys that grant you quick access without much effort. To be honest you kinda get lazy once you have all the corresponding keys for a function mapped to one button but it's really effective time wise.

There's a link to one on amazon: amzn.to/1JBbdNS

A cheaper alternative would be just to map it to the buttons already available on the pen :)

For a while I didn't even know the pen could do that! LOL! But lately I've been using it more, I go back and forth.

one of the few things i actually like about the intuos stylus. Most hit the undo button more than erasing. Its a traditional aspect i think needs to be there, yes.

Yeah, I just select the eraser inside the software too, it's so much easier/faster and it doesn't stop my workflow.

My first Wacom with the graphite 3 and thought the eraser was the best thing ever! So I just stuck with it, also it seems like sort of a hassle to stop and select the eraser tool and whatever program you're drawing in.

I agree with a couple remarks... I started outside of Wacom so I didn't have the eraser when I first started... Plus it's a smoother and easier transition to click the quick key for the eraser.

i love flipping my pen and using eraser, but, probably two years ago, eraser in my old graphire4 pen broke and doesn't work anymore so i have to use keyboard shartcut (which was so much pain at first).

solamente mientras estoy haciendo el boceto, una vez empiezo a definir mas el trazo prefiero usar el borrador u otro pincel que cumpla esa mision...

I often forget that it's there to be honest, haha. I'm too used to using the eraser option in the software.

I either paint over, or use the hotkey in photoshopped cs6 for eraser tool

totally use it - mostly when i'm just sketching and want to get away from the keyboard/monitor a bit (if i'm using a cintiq or cintiq companion) but if i'm using a tablet, i never do - in fact, my bamboo tablet doesn't even have an eraser on the top. so there. haha..
