El Pino: Japan-based independent illustrator, cartoonist, Ravenclaw.

El Pino has studied Animation, Illustration and design at Nihon University, College of Art.  ​After University, he got jobs as a designer / illustrator at a design studio and an apparel brand. After those experiences, he became independent.

He was influenced by American comics, cartoons and mid-century modern style, and specializes in illustrations and character designs with a humorous (and sometimes ironic) atmosphere.

Now he is active in a variety of media, including logo designs, apparel graphics, book illustrations, and key visuals for massive events, in spite of domestic and foreign.
