Donald Wandrei envisioned such a concept in his awesome work, and announced this in the autumn,'72 catalog of Arkham House. It has since been, like too many other books announced by them, cancelled.

I no longer get catalogs from Arkham House but that was MY decision.By 1989, they decided that the Cthulhu Mythos had descended to the level of fan-fiction and would not publish any more of it.

Here is a quote from that catalog from my youth . I am old.
