What can I say - seeing that my Wand court cards are the Weasleys, of course Ron had to be the Prince of Wands. However I think it also fits with the position within the Tarot deck. Ron's kind of touchy, moody and hates having his pride dented, particularly as he is not too sure about his own abilities and talents sometimes.
The traditional Prince of Wands is typically described as fiery, impatient, impulsive, ready to take risks and by nature optimistic. However, his frank and spontaneous outside may mask feelings of insecurity and immaturity inside. He cannot be completely trusted.

I'm just beginning to study Tarot and I have to say that your choice for Ron as the Prince of Wands was brilliant! I would never have seen it, but now that you mentioned it, it makes perfect sense! I read that the Prince is someone trying to establish their identity, their place in the world, and it just screams Ron!
