(2012), 9"x 2.5", Size 11 delica beads (matte 14k yellow gold, matte 14k white gold, matte black, metallic dark blue, transparent cobalt blue, transparent turquoise, metallic light blue), nylon thread.

After the red and orange butterfly project
I decided to make another one for myself. This one is a seamless cuff, featuring a matte gold and silver background, and sparkly blue butterflies up front. I was going for the iridescent effect of Morpho butterflies...

Thank you! It came from a commission that I did for someone. She asked for red butterflies and I just had to do a blue version.

Thank you! I think it makes curves more rounded than the 1 bead version, so it's better for more organic patterns.

Thanks so much! It was born out of commission where the customer wanted red butterflies on a green background. I liked the design I came up with so much, I wanted to see how it would repeat with other colors.
