I love drawing this gangly lad. Happy, sad, grumpy, however I happen to be feeling, it helps. It's been a difficult 7 months for me health wise but the difference today as opposed to where I was in December is massive. I still have low days, everyone does, and my confidence is still completely shot but folk have been really encouraging throughout this year. I have a lot of people to thank. Every book and print and commission I manage to sell and finish is a huge boost.
Jack from my graphic novel, Tistow. Read it on our website~
I'm going to be helping out at a Discworld exhibition in Maidstone this summer. ♥ So that's gonna be good fun! There'll be lots of fun activities at the event and I'm personally really looking forward to making shambles. If I get the chance to, I'd love to do some Discworld fanart~
You can find more details about the exhibition here: museum.maidstone.gov.uk/whats-…
The event runs from Sat 7th of July til Sunday 2nd of September.
That was an incomplete sentence I`m sorry for that writing below.
Just wanted to let you know that you go through and the way you share it with everyone is always welcoming to hear.
I'm glad to hear that you're improving, health-wise. It can be very hard, but just know that there are so many people out here who really think you're great and appreciate everything you do <333
Ooo, a leprechaun!
Very good character expression and graphic portrayal of his personality.
I like it! I have a question if you don't mind, you do you call it a visual novel ? Isn't it technically a comic ? Or are comics only about action and superheroes ?
Thank you! And that's ok! It's a line drawn on water when it comes to that definition. You'll get a completely different answer depending who you ask. I personally tend to call stapled comics with short strips 'comics' and anything with a spine and an ongoing plot is a 'graphic novel'.
Life's a bit too short to get tangled in that language. x3 Both work!
