Simis are small curious creatures that love collecting their favorite item

It can be anything, coins, rocks, a specific type of flower...
They keep them in their nest (or their owner’s home) and never let go of their stash.

Simis are rather small. They are agile and can jump really high. Their long tail allows them to stabilize themselves when running or jumping from branches to branches. However, some do have really short or puffy tails. Those ones are usually “land” Simis; they rarely go up trees or do any kind of running.

Simis have a strong sense of smell that makes them able to detect anything they're looking for from a 30 meters radius.

They have smalls paws and thumbs that make them able to grab onto objects quite easily (similar to the hands of a squirrel). They also have soft squishy pads and short claws.

Characteristics that vary

Simis can also have wings, more than two eyes and other kinds of mutations.

What would be their biggest predator?

I'm making another batch, I hope you'll like them! Llama Emoji-02 (Blush) [V1]

Humans. Simis are shameless in stealing what they want, they would go inside someone's pocket to get their coin or in a human's kitchen to get their favourite food. Just for that reason, people justify killing them. There are also "Simi hunters" that spend their time following Simis back to their den to see what their collection consists of. If they're valuable objects, they kill the Simi to avoid being harassed by it (as it would become aggressive and start chewing/scratching the enemy... Although it's not very effective) and sell its fur. Thankfully there are people who actually love Simis and adopt them, making them safe from hunters as well as other predators such as wolves, foxes and eagles. Those secondary predators are not as dangerous as humans to them. Simis are very friendly and can get along with most of them. If not, they can easily escape them by climbing up trees or by outrunning them while zigzagging.

Oh the poor creatures, someone needs to teach them how to take what they love without angering humans
