PRICING:The final price of the picture may vary, depending on the complexity of the picture or how outside my normal range it is. These prices should be considered more "guidelines."
I will quote a price to you upon having examined the request.
ChibisChibis are something I don't plan to commission on their own due to the style in which I draw them.
They can be included in the background (for minimal to no additional cost depending on the commission)
Or negotiated as stand a alone illustration on a case-by-case basis for a smaller cost than normal art.
Sketch+ Waist-up = $5
+ Full-body = $8
+ Additional Character = +$1~5
Examples:
B&W Line Art OR
CG Flat Color+ Head-shot = $6
+ Waist-up = $10
+ Full-body = $15
+ Additional Character = +$5~10
Examples B&W Line Art

Examples CG Flat Color:
CG Shaded Color OR
CG "Watercolor" Sketches+ Head-shot = $8
+ Waist-up = $15
+ Full-body = $20
+ Additional Character = +$5~10
Examples CG Shaded Color:

Examples CG "Watercolor" Sketches:
Mucha-Style(These are only available in flat color with backgrounds. I may do some textured or cell shading for effect if I feel it adds to the composition of the image. Price would be significantly lower for a group of head-shots, like the Warehouse 13 image, than for a Mucha-Style of 4 full characters.)
+ Single Character = $25~30
+ Additional Character = +$10~15
Examples:
BackgroundsI do NOT illustrate backgrounds for sketches or b&w line art. Backgrounds are automatically a part of the Mucha-Style pieces. Otherwise, the cost of anything other than a simple color contrasted geometric shape backgrounds (these are free) will be estimated based on the complexity of your request.
At current, I do not accept commissions for comic/manga pages or strips. I just do not have the time for it.
HOW TO REQUEST A COMMISSION:1) Send me a DA note or an email (elfgrove@gmail.com) with the word "COMMISSION" in the title/subject. In the note, send me the following info. If you do not, your request may get lost or overlooked.
- Your name and e-mail.
- Character(s), specifications, poses, backgrounds, action, all that good stuff. Let me know what you want me to draw.
- Head-shot, Waist-up, Full-body, and what drawing style you want done.
- Reference material/screenshots/model (ESPECIALLY for original characters). This can also include material that you want included in backgrounds, clothes, or anything of the like. NOTE! If your commission requires reference materials, YOU MUST INCLUDE IT IN YOUR REQUEST! I will NOT commit to a commission until I see exactly who/what I'm drawing.
- If it's alright for me to publish your finished piece in my deviantArt gallery. Please keep in mind that this is my work FOR YOU and I won't post it in my gallery if you don't want to but I do reserve the right to use your commission in my private portfolio if I choose to.2) After receiving your order, I will get back to you as soon as I can with any questions I might have. After that, we will work out the details and exchange payment information.
3) As soon as I can, I will send you a rough sketch of your commission. If you like it, then the first half of the price we settled on will be due. If drastic changes are needed and I need to do a second sketch from scratch, there will be a small fee. (Sketch commissions are a one-shot deal, you pay up front, I draw and send it to you.)
4) Once it's done, I will send you a small version of the finished art with a BIG watermark on it (sorry, trying to weed out the deadbeats). If you like it, the rest of the payment’s due and then I’ll send a high-res JPG or PNG file to you with no (or a very unobtrusive) watermark. I can also send you a PSD file, but keep in mind that layers will be flattened here.
* IMPORTANT! If you have a deadline that you'd like a commission by, you should contact me AT LEAST a month before. If that doesn't work, let me know and we may be able to work something out.
** Unless you tell me specifically what you want; the layout, poses, and overall composition and mood of the piece is entirely up to me.
*** All final commission products will be sent through email. ***
TERMS OF AGREEMENT:1) The artwork is for personal use only.
You want to use it for your icons, personal gallery, RPG profile, what-have-you, go for it. Any form of non-commercial personal use. *HOWEVER if you do want to commission me to do something that you can use to sell or publish (such as a book illustration or website logo), please let me know in your note. Keep in mind that this will increase the price.3) My signature and/or watermark will be on the final piece, though this will not interfere with or affect the artwork. (I can give it to you without the watermark for special cases or agreed upon commercial work, but please inform me before settling on a commission price.)
4) Payment is in USD (U.S. American Dollars) and PayPal is the STRONGLY preferred method of payment.
5) I reserve the right to refuse any commission, and I also reserve the right not to tell you why. This probably won't happen much, but you never know...
