Free! Tachibana Makoto fanart~ by EleganceOfArt Free! Tachibana Makoto fanart~ by EleganceOfArt
I decided to take a small break from writing and try a rare attempt at fanart. I don't usually do fanarts, but I was so hyped up abt the anime I felt I had to do it. So after being mesmerized and blasting this seiyuu's songs the whole time, I completed this. This guy's my fav character from the anime Free! Iwatobi swim club. I apologise if it looks so bare cause I'm not exactly the neatest artist... I shall improve more... *bows*

I can see that xD So what kind of markers do you use? The colors look really good.
Digital takes a lot of practice too, but I think it's easier because it has an "undo" button lol!

Hahaha, Copic Ciao. Thanks! I always try to use at least 2 colors to blend, but for his eyes, I used up to 4 types of green. LOL~

Ok, cool! Copics are pretty popular x) I've used regular markers before but they always bleed through the paper and look messy :( How do you get yours so clean?

Hm... What kind of paper do you use? I use the Copic Manga illustration paper. I've tried a normal kind before and it bleeds more easily, so maybe it's the paper? But it also might be the strokes. I used to do lots of circles, and when I overdo it, it wasn't pretty at all.  :)
