As for this comic…

Lessons about life I've learned from survival horror games:

1) Always take the food with you.
2) Grab whatever ammo you can find.
3) Lengthy hallways, staircases and elevator rides always contain jump scares.

That's about it, really.

Hmmm, might need to go on a more R-rated vid-net.

I just want to say I appreciate the detail of that Weber grill.  I have that exact grill.

I might not know much about Survival Horror.... But Minecraft taught me the food part, sooo they sure as hell make the wise choice here. No denying that.

I play Minecraft PE on 'easy' because I like building and mining but don't like dying.  It makes food entirely irrelevant.  I like that feeling of power.

Hehehe, I did that when I first started out playing Minecraft (partly as to learn how to play it). Now I bumped up the difficulty a bit and got a knack for exploring... Just I'm the worst at finding my way back so food have become extra important for me to bring along. Especially when I end up in desert areas.
But yeah. When I just want to build and not have my work blown up by creepers I go for easy again. That's for sure.

I don't really enjoy the combat system, or the monster element.  I played on hard for a while, and it was fine, but I found the monsters more an annoyance than anything.  Mind you, this is PE I'm playing on, which has a terrible control system for combat.  If I were playing on computer and the Nether and all that were available, I might try out a more combat-oriented experience.

Hey, fair reason to turn things down to easy. Sure can understand it's annoying if the control system and such isn't really working well for you.
