Plague Doctor mask progress

Just wanted to share some progress shots of my first plague doctor mask :D
I'm planning two plague doctor outfits : one for a medieval fair this summer, and a steampunk inspired one for november. This first mask is for the medieval version, so I wanted it to be white, plain and simple. I didn't need it to be exactly symmetrical, in fact I liked the idea of a more organic look due to asymmetry. The only obligation I had is that I need to be able to wear my prescription glasses underneath as I have a very bad eyesigh and photophobia.
First, I made a base out of aluminium foil.
I covered it with paper mache.
Lots of layers.
