It's been raining and overcast all day; I love it! Driving Luz to her appointments this morning, I really had fun weaving in out of the half-speed traffic, barely able to see ahead. I grew up driving in the rain, snow, and slush of the midwest flatlands, but most of the folks here in Tucson didn't. So when the infrequent downpours come, you can without a doubt tell who the native desert dwellers are by their manner of driving. I guess I've spent enough years here that days like today almost seem like holidays, a brief respite from the endless number of sunny days here in the desert. I remember being a kid and loving the sunny days of summer..
