The abandoned church in the national park Mavrovo, Macedonia. Located near the lake, during spring and summer time usually the church is under water due to the melting of the snow. When the hydro dam was built 60 years ago the church was left in nature's hands.

Beautiful. The church gets lit up in winter despite being drowned in the summer? Fascinating. I wonder how many people were displaced with the building of the dam.

Absolutely beautiful. The abandoned half destroyed church in the middle of the snow landscape itself is already a breathtaking scene. But to this you added the beauty night sky full of stars as well as the light inside the church. All of this together forms a simply overwhelming scene, well done photo!
