STEALTHY : Black Coffee (Rainmeter) by Ekojain STEALTHY : Black Coffee (Rainmeter) by Ekojain

One thing to remember with my skins.
~Right-click = 'open'
~Left-click = ''close' or 'select'
:: The exception is the music player.

Stealthy (music player)
Scroll Up: Forwards the song
Scroll Down: Rewinds the song
L-Click: Next Song
R-Click: Prev Song
Wheel-Click = Opens/Closes ProgressBar Skin

L-Click: Play/Pause
R-Click: Open Music Player
Wheel-Click: Refresh Skin

Scroll Up: Volume Up
Scroll Down: Volume Down
L-Click: Volume Up +10
R-Click: Volume Down -10
Wheel-Click: Mute Music Player

OPTION-TAG (The thing that pops up below the BTM-BAR):
L-Click: Opens Settings Skin
R-Click: Opens Skin Menu--> Look for "Custom skin actions" and choose you music player.

You can choose your music player either through "Custom skin actions" OR
typing it in the Settings Skin. You should do that beforehand,
So you can use the Stealthy(musicplayer) skin to open your music player by R-clicking the MID-BAR.

Over time you'll realize why I've set things to the way they are.
Or you could comment here if you think it should be some other way.

Few touch-ups, new preview pic.

P.S. I used my new separate Image File Viewer skin in this preview:

i have these skins but i got it from a different package. I really like it, because its actually useful of the desktop. but the notes skin is acting weird, i can only see the first line. the rest disappears
Ekojain Featured By Owner Jan 11, 2015  Hobbyist Interface Designer
What do you mean different package?
duckman5 Featured By Owner Edited Mar 11, 2015
I got it from a package that contained more than just one package from my friend, I asked him to send it and it came with 2 others. I guess ill just re-intsall this to see how it works out
AISUReimi Featured By Owner Nov 22, 2014  Hobbyist General Artist
I can say the same about the notes skin.
It's kind of a let-down since I take lots of notes.
Xakuyaku Featured By Owner Sep 2, 2014
Hey, I really like this skin, specially for the app launcher. its really hard to find one that scrolls. I just got one problem. My CPU usage is at 1-5% on average but when loading the app launcher the cpu usage goes to 15-20% while idle. when browsing through the launcher it goes to 50% or higher. Do you know of any way to fix this?
Enju93 Featured By Owner Jan 10, 2014
So I'm not that sawwy in editing Rainmeter apps myself to fit my needs, but I'd like to know the paragraphs I need to edit to make Appli. And the Music player to stop reseting their positions each time I start Rainmeter, Since I kinda need them not to be always on top.

Otherwise this Skin is a main part of my current Desktop setup, Loving it.
Ekojain Featured By Owner Jan 11, 2014  Hobbyist Interface Designer
So the code I used to reset its position is at "OnRefreshAction" of the [Rainmeter] section,
look for [!Zpos 1], and delete it.

I realize that it may be troublesome to people who do stuff in fullscreen...
Don't worry though, I have a quick fix that hides the suite temporarily in my upcoming update to the suite...
So you can look forward to that!

Thank you for your support! :D

Thanks for the quick reply. Looking forward to updates!

Amazing, it's the kind of skin I've been looking for decades! ("Appli" part of the skin)

Only one thing I'd like to know because I'm a rainmeter coding newbie:
- How can I enable the "Appli" part of the skin to be dragged anywhere?

This is the only thing that really bother me, because I've got few others skin on the screen already and I'd like to move it near another skin!
Ekojain Featured By Owner Jan 11, 2014  Hobbyist Interface Designer
The reason I put it at the sides of the screen is for ease, you know, like the corners for W8.
I can only sort of seeing it be harder to use if it's not at the sides TBH...
You can drag it up and down though.

But if you still wish to drag it somewhere,
there should be a meter called [border] in there somewhere, delete it.
Arcaziel Featured By Owner Jan 13, 2014
I'm asking you that because I already tried for hours to get it work.
But as a rainmeter code newbie, it's rather difficult.
I tried a looooot of things, searching on Google, modifying code, but no way.

The only [border] I found was in Stealthy.ini, removing it changes nothing.
Ekojain Featured By Owner Jan 13, 2014  Hobbyist Interface Designer
Oh right, now I remember. It's because of how I coded each meter...
(btw deleting a meter of another skin doesn't affect the skin you're focusing on.)

Ok, go to Appli's Skin file, and if I remember how I coded it correctly,
change all of the "#ScreenAreaWidth#'s into 300.

That SHOULD be able to fix it.
Arcaziel Featured By Owner Jan 13, 2014
Fixed now ! This is F***ing AWESOME !

Thanks a lot for your work and your time!

Notes isn't working .... it doesnt update after pressing the enter
xeramon Featured By Owner Nov 8, 2013  Hobbyist General Artist

Very nice skin, but I have some issues with dual monits, I hope you can help me out: puu .sh/5cbae.jpg (player + notes are prefectly hidden, but not applications)

Another screenshot: puu .sh/5cbdt.jpg (player + notes are on the second monitor and application on the first)

(couldn't post the screenshots properly)

Ekojain Featured By Owner Nov 8, 2013  Hobbyist Interface Designer
Oh, well that's because I intended for users to put the skin at the borders of their monitor,
and not the middle if you're using dual/multiple monitors. It just makes the skins hard to use and a bad experience.
The thing with how I coded in this version is that the tab moves.
Meaning the left side skins do move and have a bit sticking out, but since meters are cropped if "X" is a negative number,
that's why it looks like the left side skins are hidden.

I realize that since you have 2 monitors it must be hard to get the mouse from one side of the monitor to the opposing side of the other monitor.
My most recent version "Vanilla" of Stealthy will solve this.
It'll give you 2 versions of each skin, one for left side, one for right.

I'm almost done with Vanilla, I just need to take some beta tests with people and it'll be released.
So for now, sit tight! :D

I love this! But please tell me how I can add MediaMonkey? And is there a way I can place Applications and Volume on the left side of the screen? (I'm running dual monitors, and the right edge of the right screen is really far away from where I do most of my work) And one last question, can you add a way to switch audio output devices (I use a command like this: nircmd.exe setdefaultsounddevice "JVC Speakers" 0). If not, no problem, I can add the shortcut I already have to the Application bar.
Ekojain Featured By Owner Oct 15, 2013  Hobbyist Interface Designer
I hadn't added MediaMonkey to the CustomActions part of the skin menu,
but now that you mention it, I'm doing that right now :)
As for the side, um, so far with the version of my skin you have, no.
But I'm planning on updating it with all skins having Left and Right :D
As for the output, (if you're using a desktop mouse this will be easier)
you can click the skin using the wheel button (I call it the middle-button),
The skin menu should open up (if it doesn', try right-clicking on the mute side of the skin.)
Underneath "Stealthy\Sound" look for "Sound Settings" on the menu, click on that and voila! :D

I'll update pretty soon, so stay tuned! :iconiloveitmoreplz:
bkimbel Featured By Owner Oct 15, 2013
Thanks, It's truly an amazing skin. I was working up the courage to learn Rainmeter just so I could build something pretty much exactly like this. After looking at your code, I'm getting a bit nervous, though. Youve done a great job both with the skin and the documentation and layout of how the skins are organized. Congratulations!
Ekojain Featured By Owner Oct 16, 2013  Hobbyist Interface Designer
Oh yeah, I thought I answered this but I guess it slipped me.
For the MediaMonkey thing, just click on the little "Option-Tag".
It'll open up a settings skin, type in "MediaMonkey", press enter and the MusicPlayer skin should refresh itself, and voila.
bkimbel Featured By Owner Oct 18, 2013
Thanks, I just set it to WinAmp, and it works for MediaMonkey. I guess I had some sort of MM plugin that allowed the control. Works great!

Is there a way I can move the progress bar closer to the edge of the screen? There seems to be a margin that pushes it about 20 pixels away from the screen edge.

And if you're looking for Stealthy 2 ideas, I was wondering if you'd consider a date/time skin that hides/reveals upcoming Google calendar events, or maybe just a calendar. Or maybe the GCal shows the first event, and clicking/hovering reveals the next few events.

Ekojain Featured By Owner Oct 19, 2013  Hobbyist Interface Designer
The separate progress bar skin right?
You can right-click the white parts of the progress bar, which'll open the SkinMenu,
Go down to "Settings" and uncheck "Keep on Screen" and if you want, uncheck "Snap to Edges" as well.
That'll let you drag it.

As for your idea, I think that's great!
I was skeptic about a date/time skin at first because you can see time and date from your windows taskbar,
but a calendar/events idea would change that.
I'll try to come up with a way to make it helpful/productive. (<- the main objective of the suite btw.)

I'm also making a skin with [Wifi, CPU, RAM, Battery], (which is mainly for laptop users),
I'm just a little unsure whether users would want it to be a "click-show" like Appli, or a "hover-show" like the music player.
So I'm just asking people what they would want. What do you think?

Progress on "Black Coffee" are good, as well as for "Vanilla" (Vanilla is Stealthy2).
Will update/post soon.
bkimbel Featured By Owner Oct 26, 2013
Thanks for the info about progress bar skin, I can place it exactly where I want now.

Since you're letting us vote, I'd like to see the Wifi/CPU/RAM/Battery as "hover-show", since there are so many other ways to display that info for folks who like it on the screen. The "click-show" might be better if revealing that skin allowed more manipulation once it was displayed ... maybe being able to turn wifi on/off? Possibly changing power schema by clicking on battery? And task manager by clicking CPU/RAM? I'm not sure, those were just a couple of thoughts.

Keep up the great work!
Ekojain Featured By Owner Nov 21, 2013  Hobbyist Interface Designer
It took a lot of figuring out on borrowed codes, but I finally finished the Calendar skin.
It was such a pain, lol. But I'm proud of the result.

As for the Stat(Wifi\CPU\Ram\Battery) skin, I got that finished as well, as well as some others.

I changed the interaction.
Where you would Right-Click to expand skins in "Black Coffee", you would Left-Click for "Vanilla".
As Right-click will open something, depending on what skin it is.
This is taking into consideration for laptop users.

Everything's done now except for a preview picture explaining the skin!
So Vanilla (Stealthy 2) should be up in a few days if all goes well.
Tell your RM friends!

A good skin pack. Really!

Thank you! :D
I think people are going to like the gmail skin I'm working on right now for "Stealthy Suite Vanilla"
(Which is basically Stealthy 2 lol)
I'm still unsure what else I want to show with Stealthy Vanilla, so far only Gmail and Computer stats, I'm hoping people would give me ideas lol

I do plan on working on a second note skin, which would be using the FileView Plugin in a rather cool way.
(Gosh I'm loving FileView, so much you can do with it. Although quite tedious to set up lol)

That "Appli" thingy.. any chance to change the color of the green to cyan?
Sorry but im not that used to rainmeter

Great job on the skin! :D
Ekojain Featured By Owner Sep 22, 2013  Hobbyist Interface Designer
Hm I DID have a settings skin that lets you change colour when I started this project,
but it turned out to be too much of a mess, but I'll work on that.

In the meantime, go into the "~resources" folder of "Stealthy", look for ""
open the text file, go down to "Applicol=".
Right now it's set to "139,202,105"
But you can go online to look up the code for cyan.
I think the hex code for cyan should be "00FFFF", try it out!
You can also change the colours of other skins but... I'd be careful, cuz I wasn't too organized with it all lol.
I'd suggest if you're new to it, play around with it, and wait till I come with an update that has a settings window that lets you mess around you colours.

Thank you! :D

EPIK HIGH. Nuff said lol.
Thank you so much!
There's more to come, if anyone uses a laptop, the "Stat" skin I'm working on may be helpful!
Stat: Gmail Notifs (Sender/EmailTitle) ; Battery (UpTime included) ; Wifi (Network name etc.) ; Weather lol
