Inktober 2021 - #24-25 Extinct and Splat

Let's #inktober2021 !       

It's that time of the year again and I'm adding witches to the challenge, celebrating the spooky season.

Here's another Inktober sequel, this time of prompt 8.
As an avid bird-watcher Wynona decided to start a new society called S.P.L.A.T. (Supporting Poultry Learning to Aviate Terrifically) inspired by her dear little flightless friend, Mildred.

I admit that this image raises too many questions:
* Why doesn't 'Wingardium Leviosa!' work on poor Mildred?
* Is Wynona just incredibly bad at magic?
* Do they even realize that Mildred is in fact a Dodo, a bird that has become extinct some centuries ago?
* Are we actually witnessing the last Dodo alive feebly flapping to its clumsy demise?

I'd like to think that after this tumble Mildred is a little shaken but otherwise perfectly fine and that Wynona will turn to plan B: teaching Mildred to fly a broom...
