Hi, Ejderha! I just wanted to stop by and thank you again for your welcome comment and for the very dashing lama glama! (who is quite dashing, if you ask me!)
I'm currently taking all of the wonderful advice you gave me, and I couldn't feel any better.
Your artwork is absolutely gorgeous btw, and I'd love to see more from you - you have a very special gift in your talent.
Once again, thank you for your kind words and please continue to share your incredible work! Much love, CandyDragon
It makes me so happy to read that my comment had that effect on you. Knowing this really makes my day!
Thank you for your compliment about my work. I will do my best to nurture my creativity and produce more lovely drawings.
Keep on being creative and just have fun with it!
No problem! I most certainly will continue to nourish my imagination, with you in mind! Have a wonderful day full of dashing llamas and love!
I love your Tarot cards! They are beautiful and your attention to symbolic details is captivating. I feel I could look at your cards for hours, and discover new secret symbols and meanings every second. Yours is one of my favorite Tarot decks, and I can assure you that your cards are admired by many other Tarot fans not having DA profiles (DA is not the place where people interested in Tarot go; if it were, you'd have a huge number of "favorites" and followers among them).
Wow, thank you so much for your comment!
It makes me so happy that you like my interpretation of the Tarot cards so far. I'm doing my best to combine my own ideas with the traditional Tarot, without making a mess of all the symbolism. Although I'm not a reader of Tarot I still wish to do the Major Arcana justice and my biggest worry is that I screw up and that true Tarot readers will call me out on that.
Reading that my drawings might attract a lot of interest amongst Tarot fans really gives me a boost and makes me excited to continue the series.
Tarot is very popular in South America. I've shared your cards in Tarot enthusiasts groups in Spanish, composed mostly by South Americans, and no one has complained about symbolism (see https://www.facebook.com/groups/209749365727575 ). Actually, your cards invite contemplation, meditation and discovery. I, personally, consider them very inspired.
The mermaid element just suggest an affinity for the Water element, which is, you know, psychic and intuitive. To me, it would be a reminder to use intuition and not to rely only on card meanings learned by heart.
To know where the hard core Tarot lovers live, check Google trends. Set it to provide world wide data (not only US, or any single country), and then, search for "Tarot".
Uruguay is number 1 on the list of countries where more Google searches for "Tarot" are made. Second place worldwide is Chile, and the Third is Argentina (and the Tarot enthusiasts from these countries have not complained about your cards, actually, they get likes when I share and comment them).
