Within the Sands - Ch. 2
"What are you trying to say!" it was time for the accusations to start flying. It was always a task to take my sister to the market. Her golden eyes always made people believe that she was a demon. Well, people believed that I was a specter with my white eyes, ivory skin, and white hair. I guess both of us going to the market was just too much for people to take, "I'm just a normal girl! I haven't taken a single thing and yet—"

Prologue Part 1

He was trying to teach the girl a few different symbols, but the small girl seemed to be focused on something else. Something that didn't matter to the priest. They were no longer his problem.

The young priest nodded as he closed his coal rimmed eyes, "Yes," he took a deep breath before he opened his eyes and made his way over to the children. He grabbed the girl roughly by the arm and pulled her to her feet, "Come, girl."
The small girl's golden eyes grew wide as she turned to look up into the young priest's obsidian eyes, "Master Amenhotep?"
