Hi there, my friends!

On my last poll I asked "where are you from?" egil21.deviantart.com/journal/…. I was curious - I like so much to travel but it's impossible to go everywhere! The Internet is a wonderful tool to know more and to see more

I started by featuring my hometown, Caldas da Rainha. You may find the feature here egil21.deviantart.com/journal/…
Now it's time to feature some friends' hometowns!

Thank you so much for your attention!

:iconrichairartistry:  Richard is fortunate and have 2 homes :) one is in Tawneytown, Maryland and the other is in Jacksonville, Florida.

"Taneytown is a city in Carroll County, Maryland, United States.
Taneytown was founded in 1754 and takes its name from Raphael Taney, a recipient of one of the first land grants in the area, though Taney likely never lived in the town that bears his name."

"Jacksonville is the largest city in the U.S. state of Florida in terms of land area, and the largest city by area in the contiguous United States; with a population of 821,784, is the most populous city proper in Florida and the eleventh most populous in the United States.
Harbour improvements since the late 19th century have made Jacksonville a major military and civilian deep-water port. Its riverine location facilitates two U.S. Navy bases and the Port of Jacksonville, Florida's third largest seaport.
Significant factors in the local economy include services such as banking, insurance, and healthcare. As with much of Florida, tourism is also important to the Jacksonville area, particularly tourism related to golf."

:icondjsgirl: Mara lives near Bologna, Italy.

"Bologna lies between the Po River and the Apennine Mountains, more specifically, between the Reno River and the Savena River. It is the seventh largest city in terms of population and it is the heart of a metropolitan area (officially recognized by the Italian government as a metropolitan city) of about 1,000,000 inhabitants. The urban sprawl of Bologna – Modena, whose metropolises are adjoining, is continuously expanding. Home to the oldest university in the world, University of Bologna, founded in 1088, Bologna hosts numerous students who enrich the social and cultural life of the city.
Famous for its towers and lengthy porticoes, it has a well-preserved historical downtown (one of the largest in Italy) thanks to a careful restoration and conservation policy."
