We sit and watch As Gaia chokes on her own ashen vomit As she is tortured by the bovines The men in the suits The wheeled machines with the belching pipes. She screams, we hear her... We do nothing to help her. This we have always condoned... And this we condone now. All the way back from the hospital, mam was fretting and insisting over and over “you’re not to tell your father about this”. And we both knew why.We hid the diagnosis for a few days, but I knew it couldn’t last. Eventually he’d find out I had Tepes' Syndrome... but there was one thing I definitely underestimated. Remember when you had wobbly teeth as a kid? Well, having them as an adult is a pain in the arse, especially when it’s your incisors that are wobblin’.
