A purpose-built GT-Racing version of an Alfa Romeo GTV fielded by Scuderia Ferruci Italia.
a healthy dose of heritage has been built into this car, with the 1920's alfa romeo grille badge, a cloverleaf logo on the side that's been present on racing alfas since just about the beginning of alfa racing history, the maneating serpent seen on many alfa GTAs back in the day of the giulia sprint lightweight.. and the obligatory italian flag livery.
it's powered by a Ferrari-sourced V8. a 4-liter heart modified from the relatively pedestrian powerplant from an F430 GTC Racer pumps away and sucks in agip's best racing fuel through a set of custom tengu individual throttle bodies and explodificationalizes it with mahle pistons, a brain from cosmoto, denso plugs, cosmoto coils, tengu pulleys and belts, and spits out the befouled air through a tubi exhaust manifold to the tune of 800 normally aspirated ps at 12000 revs when uncorked.. but it's restricted to around 660ps for racing use.
the body, an automobili ferruci-produced carbon fiber monocoque with a few steel and titanium sections weighs in at a scant 1000kg without ballast added.
the brakes are a dual AP Racing 6-piston caliper setup for a total of 12 pistons per front wheel, and enough stopping force to slam an unbelted driver through the windscreen. the rears have juse one set of the AP 6-pistons. all those expensive pistons grip a 17-inch set of steel AP rotors at all four corners.
the normal GTV suspension was left off the car in favor of an ohlins GT-racing setup with inboard rear springs and dampers. the wheels are a custom racing Work Emotion CR kai in 19x12 in front and 19x13 out back on advan slicks. lubrication is handled by omega of japan's finest. stack has contributed a GT-spec digital dash and analog rev-counter to let you know just how close you are to that 15000 rpm fuel cut. ARC of japan contributed radiators and oil coolers to keep all those expensive bits from overheating and exploding.
the driver's area is protected by a GR-Italia Rollcage, and the driver's held in place by a custom ferruci-upholstered recaro with a sabelt harness. a GR-Italia crystal-studded sequential shifter helps the driver bang through those 6 gears in style. while a ferruci-styled steering wheel alfa so kindly gave us from their Diva concept car, allows the driver to show the tarmac who's boss.
#212 is ready and waiting to take Racing Battle 2006 by storm and decimate all cars present on the track.
