I was born aboard the Victory, a massive, shining symbol of interstellar freedom. She was a colony ship of immense size and power, from the United Citizens Corporation, and was the type of thing that nobody would ever dare to attack from the outside.
This, and the way that people say 'was' when talking about Victory, meant that all of her strife came from within. There was always a little infighting within the colony. Tiny wars with tiny victories that basically amounted to gang violence. Where things really went sour was the day she passed her expected landing date with no sign of a destination in sight.

Swatter Knights protect the world. We put our lives on the line to keep everyone safe from the invading fairy legions. Most people don't even know they exist, and it's our job to keep those people safe.
Fighting fairies comes with a lot of risk. First off, fairies cannot be fought with normal weapons. Their size, and their magic, make it nearly impossible. So a fly swatter to you might be nothing more than a tool of convenience, but in my hands it is a weapon, a shield and a banner.

Uploaded a few simple sketches I've had laying around for awhile. I just cheaply balanced the colours after a quick scan in Photoshop, so they don't look as good as they could, but I don't plan to do much else with them.
Just got back from a three week Christmas vacation to my home town. Despite having a great time seeing family and old friends, and getting to be there for niece's 2nd birthday, I am really glad to be back. Time to go read webcomics for two hours!
