Figure I might as well update this here Journal since it's been around a year since I last did so. Had a fantastic photo shoot yesterday up in Washington with a very good friend. Put on my knight kit and walked around Round Lake in Lacamas Park. It was great fun, when I wasn't having to lug the 55+ pounds of armor up the trails around the lake. Definitely got my workout in yesterday. I'll be  posting pictures from the shoot over the coming days, so stay tuned for some awesome and probably a few really goofy photos to be uploaded. Hey all. What's new? A few things on my end. I have some interesting projects upcoming. This month I will be constructing a shield press, which will allow me to put a curve in wooden shields. With this press, I will be able to crank out medieval heater shields along with Norman kite shields. The shields will be covered in canvas and primed for painting, they will also have the straps on the inside so they will be functional. If you might be interested in getting a shield, feel free to message me and we can talk details. I've also been working on making knight surcoats for myself and a few friends.
