Athena Parthenos

So, this is my work based on the Athena Varvakeion statue (a classic roman replica of the original Athena Parthenos made by motherf*cking Phidias around 450BC in ancient Greece). Here is the image: [link]

I tried to give "life" to the statue and at the same time also tried to practice some of the aspects of the Renaissance painting. I'm really far from perfect on this matter, but hey, at least I managed to get some painting done. It took me ages.
