Dear Friends, After almost 12 years here with you, the time has come to say goodbye and move on to new paths. Even though it’s difficult for me, I have to admit that rendering hasn’t been as much fun for me over the past three-quarters of a year as it used to be. Often, I found myself sitting in front of the program, clicking through the content out of boredom. The new products also don’t appeal to me as much as they once did. I would like to sincerely thank everyone for the wonderful time here and wish you all lots of joy with your hobby. I will leave my account active so that some of you still have the opportunity to view my works. However, I will rarely, if at all, respond to posts in the future. The worst that can happen has happened: my NAS is broken (not the HDDs) and everything I've ever done is on it. Now I have to get a new device and hope that the data migration works (according to the manufacturer it should). The old device hasn't been around for a few years. Unfortunately, things from everyday life are also stored on it. You only notice what can no longer be done when it completely fails. 😩 Of course I have a backup there too, but it can't be used directly. I need a functioning NAS for that.🫤 UPDATE 24/10/04: The new device was delivered and the old hard drives from the defective device were transferred to the new device without any problems, including the data. At the moment it looks as if everything is back. Of course, this only works if you stay with the same manufacturer. 😁
