coool...but...why do you make people pay for it.that's realy rude.

50 points equates to 50 cents. i am a freelance illustrator and art is my job - not a hobby - that i get paid for; two quarters is not a living wage by any means and i am not asking for a lot. thank you for understanding!

while yes, its cheap, No 50 cents is not 50 points..

$5 - 400 Points
$10 - 800 Points
$25 - 2000 Points
$50 - 4000 Points
$100 - 8000 Points

In order for 1 cent to be 1 point, it would have to be

$5 - 500 Points
$10 - 1000 Points
$25 - 25000 Points
$50 - 50000 Points
$100 - 100000 Points

and its no where near that
while im to lazy to do the math, it looks like buying 8000 Points would cost you 10X more then if you bought 20 sets of 400 points.. Though i could be wrong

But once again, 50 points is more then 50 Cents

You are incorrect: the amount of points that I can withdraw into my paypal directly corresponds to 100 points = $1. You are referring to the price of buying points directly from dA, and they will take a % of the money to ensure that the website is making a profit on their currency.

Shown is an example of a base I am selling for 100 points:…
When somebody buys my base for 100 points, I receive $1 in my earnings. If I were to withdraw my earnings as points and NOT into Paypal, then dA will take a % from the transaction (in this case, they take 20 cents):…
Also, because I do not have a CORE membership, if I withdraw my earning into Paypal then dA will take a $1 tax on the transfer.

All in all, if someone pays me 50 points then I receive 50 cents. It has nothing to do with the price of purchasing points from the website.

yes.. i understand you get 50 cents, i even just looked if i went to make a comission and messed arroudn with the price.. but you are still wrong, if someone pays 50 points, you get 50 cents.. but it cost them more then 50 cents so you cant say oh its only 50 cents

i'm not really sure what your motive is here because i am telling you the direct conversion that i am given as a seller and what is paid to me specifically to come to that amount, not what you pay to deviantart. 50 points is 50 cents to me, it is what i am given and able to take out of my earnings. what someone pays to deviantart and is taxed for is of little consequence to me as the seller because that is not the direct conversion to me, as well as there being multiple different ways to come into owning points (most users are gifted points rather than collecting them as earnings and thus not taxed for it or having to pay an extra fee at all). this base is only 50 cents.
