It's strange really, I started this profile years ago with fanarts and haven't done these regularly in a while, but lately I hinted about more fanarts and the general consensus is people got sick of it lol
Is this the Patreon effect? 
Nah, I don't think so. Imo people are not sick of fanart at all, but make sure you're drawing something you actually want to draw (that way it'll be an interesting piece, and I think what people are getting tired of is seeing 100 people draw a new flavour of the month character in a stock pose from their game or whatever, because it's hard to make that feel like the artist's take on that character).
